You probably think the torches are a silly idea. Did you ever hear about Calon? The people of Calon were allegedly saved by these very torches--and legend has it that the people in the camp when the torches are lit never die.

Even if it isn't true, if the troops believe it, it could give us the advantage we need. Faith is as important as strength, yes?

Player: "I suppose so."

It also doesn't hurt that it will light the path, of course. There's a practical side to this, too.

The lives of my soldiers are my responsibility, Player, and I will do whatever is necessary to bring as many as possible safely home again. I know what our odds are against Bollvig. If a torch can make the difference, I will absolutely use it.

Player: "That makes sense."

I know you've been to the Patema Ruins before. You know the area well, and you could save us valuable time.

Go to Patema Ruins, and set light to the Torches of Encouragement, Attack, Courage, Guidance, Battle, Victory, and Glory, one by one from the one nearest to the village to the one farthest away.

Once you light the torches, not even a storm will be able to extinguish them. Then we can set off on our mission with clear hearts and able spirits.

Player: "I'll take care of it."
