Summary:
Fuchsia told you that the third test ensures you are able to carry out your missions amid the dangers of the Abyss.

She instructed you to choose one of three missions: to hunt three species of creatures in Eltnen, to go to the underground arena and defeat the beasts there, or to go to Asmodae and steal a fortress flag.

You completed your mission and reported the results to Telemachus, commander of Eltnen Fortress.

Full quest's text:
Player, you've done well to make it this far. Are you prepared for the third stage of the Abyss entry test?

Before you answer, know that the battlefield of the Abyss is in constant motion, and your strategies must adapt accordingly.

To this end, I have readied three missions to prepare and test you, if you are ready to proceed.

Player: "I'm ready."

To complete missions, you need more than just fighting abilities. Patience, courage, and diligence are equally important.

You need only attempt one of these trials. Choose which you think best suits your abilities; each will test for the qualities we seek.

We begin at your pleasure. Say the word.

Player: Accept.

Very well.

Regardless of duty and destiny, you must make your own choices while you can.

Safe travels, Player. Come back when you are ready.

Player: "I'll think on what you've said."

So far, you've displayed remarkable flexibility and adaptability. One of these missions will tell us your true character--choose, and we'll begin.

Brigade General Telemachus will test your mastery of combat against a variety of adversaries. Travel to Eltnen to receive your task.

In the Sanctum Underground Arena, your ability to fight when outnumbered will be fiercely tested against packs of ferocious beasts.

Cloaked by discretion alone, you will sneak into Asmodae, obtain an item of rare power, and return it safely to me.

Player: "I will go to Eltnen."

A brave decision. Telemachus is far from soft, and will test you thoroughly.

Should you emerge standing, you'll fully deserve the title of Daeva.

Your destiny awaits you in Eltnen.

Player: "Thank you."

Very good. Go to the Coliseum and meet Epeios.

Tell him you have been sent for the Abyss test. He will send you directly to the Sanctum Underground Arena.

Prepare yourself, Daeva. The creatures in the caverns will take your true measure.

Player: "I will."

The Morheim Ice Fortress in Asmodae is festooned with Fortress Flags.

Each represents the pride of their legions and Archons, and are heavily guarded.

A frontal assault will surely fail. Approach with caution, observe their movements, then strike with speed and precision.

Player: "Faith and arms!"

I bid you welcome, Player.

Word has reached me of your recent activities. I assume you are here to take the test.

Your progress so far is remarkable. Here you are, freshly ascended, and already an experienced Daeva seeking permission to enter the Abyss.

Player: “What must I do?”

How you find and approach your targets tells us a lot about how you will adapt to the conditions of the Abyss. The three opponents you'll face are the Bighorn Baku, the Foraging Kurin, and the Roaring Monitor.

You can find Bighorn Bakus in the Ruberein Wastes, Foraging Kurins in the Eiron Desert, and Roaring Monitors in the Putrid Mire. Bring me three of each.

Player: "I will."

Back so soon, Player?

I hope you understood the task fully. You're willingness to learn is a solid asset, but ambition must always be tempered with wisdom in the Abyss.

What is the result of your hunt?

Player: "Success!"

Exemplary work. No less than I have come to expect of you.

Congratulations, Player--you have completed the third test.

There is but one more task before you are permitted entrance to the Abyss.
Hmmm...you walk without a limp. I take it you are a newcomer.

Tell me, why do you come to the Duel Sanctuary?

Player: “To be tested for the Abyss.”

Hmmm, perhaps your un-scarred skin is a product of skill rather than inexperience.

When you arrive in the Sanctum Underground Arena, you will see cages at the front and sides of the arena. Within are ravenous creatures without mercy or compassion.

Open them. If you kill at least ten within a set time limit, I'll know you have what it takes. Are you ready?

Player: "Ready."

The test requires that you kill ten beasts, Daeva. This time, you fell short.

You must remain focused, one failure cannot deter you. Skill alone is nothing without determination. This is the true strength of the Daeva.

Tell me when you are ready to try again.

Player: "I'm ready."

You've returned, and perhaps a bit more weathered than when you arrived!

Did the beasts treat you well? I imagine they were pleased to see such a fresh meal presented to them.

Tell me how many you managed to slay.

Player: "The count stands at..."

You have done all that I asked, and have passed the third test. The skill of a fighter is not measured in bruises, but rather the ability to avoid them.

Return to Eltnen Fortress and report your progress to Brigade General Telemachus.

He will prepare you for the next phase.

Player: "Thank you, I will."

Ah, Player.

You have come with good news, I hope. Elysea can do with as much of that as possible.

Player: "I have returned from the Arena victorious."

This is welcome news indeed. Handling those beasts speaks volumes of your courage and tenacity, traits essential to taking on Asmodians and Balaur in the Abyss.

I formally certify your successful completion of the third test. Great things lie ahead of you, Player, I can feel it. One warrior can always sense the worth of another.

One final test awaits you before you can join us in the Abyss.
Welcome back, Player.

Is that Asmodian soil smeared on your skin? Somehow, even their dirt caries a foreign taint.

I need to see the fortress flag to be sure. I hope for your sake that you didn't leave it behind.

Player: "I have done what you asked."

Asmodae is a blank and heartless land, yet you ventured into its depths and returned unscathed.

You have surpassed yourself. I have no hesitation in formally certifying your successful completion of the third test.

One final test awaits you. If you are to enter the Abyss, you must pass that trial.
Until you return with the fortress flag, it's as if you have not set foot in Asmodae.

Perhaps I should remind you--you will not pass the test without it.

Don't speak, just go. Do not return without the flag.

Player: "I'll be back."

You seem vexed, Player. Are you having misgivings about your choice of mission?

If you would like to choose a different mission, it's not too late.

Better to fix a mistake now rather than later, when you find yourself pinned down by adversaries, out of bandages and far from comrades.

Player: "Yes, I need to rethink my strategy."
