Description:
Talk to Meiyer. Go to the Reported Invasion Site in Altgard Ice Lake and use an Invasion Sensor to investigate the area. [%5] Nothing happened! Talk to Kueve in Basfelt Village. Go to the Remembered Invasion Site in Idun's Lake and use the Invasion Detector to investigate. [%11] Nothing happened! Talk to Watchman Shezen in front of the Haramel Secret Passage. Investigate the Ruined Invasion Generator in Impetusium and obtain the Maintained Circuit. Investigate the Malfunctioning Invasion Generator in Impetusium and obtain the Undamaged Circuit. Report back to Morn in Altgard Fortress. Something urgent is afoot. Talk with Suthran in Altgard.
Summary:
Suthran told you that new highly advanced weapons were invading many places at once, and expressed concern at the army's inability to prepare for the next invasion. You used a sensor to detect signs of Balaur activity in certain areas, but there were no results.

After assessing the site, you went to see Kueve, who provided an eyewitness account of the weapon appearance and informed you of another invasion site. Kueve said that, although he saw the huge weapon, it disappeared shortly after and he wasn't sure of his memory.

You went to the spot Kueve remembered and used an Invasion Detector to investigate, but once again, there wasn't any response. So you went to see Shezen, who also witnessed the event. Shezen said he didn't really remember what he saw with Kueve, but told you about another instance of weapon appearance in Impetusium. Shezen stated that the huge weapon and a number of other devices suddenly appeared out of thin air and then disappeared all at once a little later.

You went to Impetusium where he witnessed the weapons and investigated debris left behind from the Invasion Power Generators, and managed to obtain parts that looked like circuits. You brought them to Morn, who said the clues you obtained should help them find out where and when the huge weapons would invade next.

Full quest's text:
Player, I'm glad you're here. I was about to declare a state of emergency.

The enemy is moving, and they came prepared. The scale of this offensive is beyond anything we've faced before.

Report to Meiyer at once, she'll fill you in.

Player: Accept

Ah, Player. You came at a good time.

I only have time to say this once, so listen well.

The enemy is moving, and they seem to be coming from everywhere. It's completely different from anything we've seen up to this point--they're not coming from one region. We've received reports from several locations.

Player: "Interesting..."

According to the reports, their newly developed weapons are attacking multiple regions at once.

We're holding them back as much as we can, but we need more time. The information we need most right now is the exact location of their invasion points. By investigating the places they appeared, we may be able to predict their next target, and prepare accordingly.

At present, we only have one report we're absolutely sure of, but we have to verify the others as soon as possible.

Player: "I see."

I need you to assist with the investigation. I'm trusting you with this Invasion Sensor, so first head over to the Reported Invasion Site at Altgard Ice Lake. It's the only location we've identified so far.

Use the sensor to search for any abnormal activity. If we're lucky, we may be able to figure out where, and possibly when, they will strike next.

Once you have completed your investigation there, go and look for Kueve in Altgard. He's a hunter who reported the most recent invasion, and he may be able to help you pinpoint the next site.

Player: "On my way."

Have you come because of the report I made?

I apologize if my memory is a little vague, but I was so stunned that I thought my heart had stopped. I was convinced I was hallucinating....

At any rate, I was hunting around Idun's Lake when, suddenly, there was a terrifying weapon, the likes of which I'd never seen before... just... there! I turned around to flee and when I looked back, it was gone.

Player: "Vanished?"

Well, it happened so fast, so I'm not sure if I really saw it or not... I wasn't even sure if I should report it. I told you, I might have been seeing things...

Here, I'll make the location on your map. Go there and use the Invasion Detector to verify my report.

Oh, wait! I just remembered! I wasn't alone, someone else was with me.

Player: "Can you tell me where I can find them?"

It was Watchman Shezen. I recommend you speak to him if you don't find anything.

Shezen is almost always on watch, so he sees everything. I'm sure you will find him a lot more helpful than I've been.

Player: "You've been most helpful."

You're here to ask me about my report? Good. I'm glad they're taking it seriously.

First, about what happened in Idun's Lake when I was with Kueve--I barely saw anything, myself. It was gone too quickly. At the time, I wasn't sure of anything... but I saw something today that confirms it. I was doing a routine patrol at the Haramel Secret Passage when the same thing happened--the huge weapon and several other devices suddenly appeared out of thin air right in front of me.

I hid before anyone noticed me. I tried to collect information for my superiors, but just as quickly as they appeared, everything vanished all at once. They were just kind of... appearing, and disappearing again.

Player: "Like flickering in and out?"

Well, from the way the weapon appeared and disappeared, I surmised that the huge weapons were recalled to their base after a certain period of time. It is also possible that devices like the Maintained Circuits or Undamaged Circuits don't respond precisely. I doubt that we'll ever be able to use that equipment to accurately pinpoint when or where the weapons will invade.

But there is a solution. We must obtain clues directly from the devices. Unlike other sites, these devices left behind some debris. I wouldn't know what to look for, but I did bring them back with me.

If you examine the debris over there, you should obtain some clues.

Player: "Perfect."

(This is the circuit board for a power generator. The generator itself doesn't work, but the memory core seems intact.)

Player: "This should do."

(This is the circuit board for a power generator. The generator itself doesn't work, but the memory core seems intact.)

Player: "Yoink!"

These look like designated circuits from devices similar to the Power Generators that have been seen recently in Kaldor and Levinshor.

This is just the thing we needed. Look--various times and locations recorded in the Balaur language, and you can see the coordinates recorded in the Maintained Circuit and the Undamaged Circuit are in completely different letters. This tells us that these two devices were programmed with different times and locations.

You have done very well. After we analyze these, we'll be able to find out when and where the Beritra army will invade. There is something that concerns me, however. This is only my hypothesis, but it might be possible for the enemy to use this method to launch a massive invasion targeting many locations at the same time... There are reports of similar incidents happening in other areas. We have to keep investigating.
