Vili's Mind
icon Quest
Type: Quest
Category: Silentera Canyon
Level: 53
Asmodian Only

Description:
Break the curse on the Statue Sinigalla. Tell her what happened. Talk to Nep. Go to Silentera Canyon and break the curse on Sinigalla, who has turned to stone.
Summary:
You decided to deliver the remedy to Vili. He confessed that he had feelings for Sinigalla too, and asked you to break her curse in his stead.

You went to Silentera Canyon and freed Sinigalla. You told her what Vili had done and why. She decided to follow her heart and be with him.

At her request, you delivered a message to Nep, who was heartbroken, but glad that she was free of her curse.

Full quest's text:
I suppose the next step is in my hands now. I have to be honest, Player.... It's been a long time since I've loved any woman.

As much as I tried to reject her, there was something about her. My heart... Azphel knows I can't control my emotions.

Nep? I'll make amends to him, somehow. But Sinigalla is what's important right now.

Player: "Yes, the curse."

Even if I could leave Morheim for Balaurea, I don't know if I could face her right now. I wouldn't know what to say.

But if nothing else, a fellow Daeva is suffering, and may be in mortal peril. Could you free Sinigalla from her curse for me?

Player: Accept.

I was told the Statue Sinigalla is located near the beginning of Silentera Canyon.

Be on your guard--you know well what perils lurk there.

She won't have any idea what's happened, so be sure she gets back to the fortress safely.

Player: "I'll see to it myself."

Wha...? Oh, my head. It feels like I've been banging it against a cliffside.

Where is...? There were Balaur everywhere just now. Where did they go?

You! Whoever you are, explain what's happened! Now!

Player: "It's a long story...."

I was turned into stone? You're kidding. Yet...I do remember being affected by some kind of magic....

And Vili said all that? I knew it. I knew I saw that spark in his eyes--I knew he was suppressing what he felt because of Nep.

I know how this looks.... He's almost two centuries older than me and Nep. But he's forever young too.... And I love him.

Player: "I won't judge."

But if what you told me is true, Nep still has feelings for me. I thought those cooled long ago.

Perhaps if I'd known that before... No, it's too late now. I need to follow my heart, and it tells me that Vili is the one.

Please tell Nep to forget about me, that I wasn't worthy of his love. Tell him I've gone to find happiness, and that I want him to do the same.

I can get to Morheim on my own. Just give Nep my message, please.

Player: "I will. Best of luck to you and Vili."

Finally, you're back! That took longer than I thought it would.

Of course, I would want Kistig to take his time. This is something that must not be left to chance.

But it may be over now. Could Kistig help her?

Player: "I'm sorry to tell you this..."

I...I see. I was afraid of that. That's why I didn't tell you that we--we used to... Oh, Sinigalla....

But she's free of the curse. And she's happy. That's all I ever wanted for her.

I don't blame Father either. He couldn't help loving her any more than I could. I'll tell him that myself...when I can....

But that's none of your concern. Thank you for everything you've done for Sinigalla. Please, take this as a token of our...my gratitude.
