Long ago, in our land right here, the Balaur civilization had developed enough to rule all of Atreia. It was much more advanced than Human civilizations of the time, and remains more colourful than people think.

Sadly, the Balaur Lords appeared, and then there were only wars and destruction. With the Cataclysm, Drakan got separated from the rest of their civilization.

Oh, Balaurea! What secrets of the past can you tell?


Why don't we see Balaur cities and villages in Inggison? Why are there no traces of Drakan civilization?

This must have been an uncivilized area because all we see are strange animals and plants for the biologists.






Hanarkand? Yes, and what a find!

Hanarkand is no fortress, but a residential area. If only I could see it, a real Drakan habitat, but there are so many Balaur that I can't even get there, let alone research it.

Perhaps if we got rid of a few Hanarkand Drakan Elites....






Going to Hanarkand alone is no easy task. You may be better served to take some fellow soldiers or friends you can trust.

Your best bet is to go after the Hanarkand Drakan Superior Fighter[pl:"Fighters"]s and Hanarkand Drakan Superior Legate[pl:"Legates"]s.




Before the Cataclysm, Balaur and Humans could coexist. What happened? Only when we understand our enemies can we win the war.
