Talk to the Mysterious Helper at the entrance to the Daeva Prison Cells. Talk to Saviour Sarakiel in Lacrima. Talk to Saviour Sarakiel in Lacrima. Talk things over with the Mysterious Helper and decide where in the basement’s High-Security Zone you should investigate first. Summary: The Mysterious Helper said that you should go to the Daeva holding cells first if you want to find Lindiana. Many Daevas were locked up there. When you looked at the information sheet in the cells, you learnt that many Daevas of all ages from all over Elysea and Asmodae are being held captive and tortured here. You spoke to the only captive Daeva who was still coherent. The Daeva used to be student at the manor and said that everything he’d learnt there was a lie, and that he’d lost his friends to the Balaur. You learnt how cold-blooded the Balaur are, but you couldn’t find Lindiana. You told the Mysterious Helper what happened in the cells. As the Balaur are the ones inflicting pain on the Daevas, she advised you to forget everything you had learnt so far, and to make a fresh start. Full quest's text: Show/Hide Hm, so that’s how it is. If you look at the plan… Maybe you should start here. No, maybe here would be better…? Your friend… yes. So you haven’t given up hope yet. I respect your decision not to give up on your friend until the very end. Then you should go and check the Daeva Cells first. If your friend is still alive, they most likely took her there. ##################### 1. (Similar information follows below.) Paradise! Paradise! You who think you can believe your way into paradise! Ha, haha… I was chosen. I was told I could enter paradise. They assured me, but… What… what am I doing here? The gates of paradise opened before me… Everyone disappeared and I’m the only one left behind. I… was really chosen. Me! I was chosen! Hahaha…! Do you want to know something about me? I’m Lephar’s apostle…! His protégé…! No matter how you test me, I will prevail! I knew it! You’re just trying to get information out of me! Daevas who aren’t Lepharists are all liars and spies! I’ve got nothing at all to say to you! I… I’ve seen your face in passing. In the Training Area? Or in the Classroom? You were one level below me… Don’t you remember me? Yes… yes, I remember you! How did you get in here? Get out of here, quickly…! The Balaur will lock you up and get rid of you… You still don’t know? The peaceful life at the manor, the stories about the lords being cowards and the Balaur saving the Daevas, the promise of going to paradise if you train hard and are chosen… Everything in this manor is Balaur lies! I found that out when I was brought here. There’s no such thing as paradise. The Daevas at the manor are less than pets to the Balaur…! Most of my friends who were chosen along with me are dead. I’m probably… the only survivor. Lindiana… I hardly know anyone’s name here. There aren’t many Daevas here who are still in one piece. I’m sorry I can’t help you. I hope your friend is all right. You haven’t found all of your memory fragments yet. Let’s return to the point where your last memory ends. Close your eyes and breathe in as deeply as you can. Good. Now… Concentrate entirely on your breathing. You haven’t found all of your memory fragments yet. Let’s return to the point where your last memory ends. Close your eyes and breathe in as deeply as you can. Good. Now… Concentrate entirely on your breathing. Don’t forget that it’s the Balaur inflicting this pain on the Daevas. Forget everything you’ve learnt here and start over. The world at the manor… is an artificial illusion created by the Balaur. Basic Reward 130 995 XP x 2 100
