Quest item to begin is Quartz of Virtue.
Took me maybe a hundred tries at Terminon Coin Fountain to get it.
Do not make the same mistake as me: You have to do the quest and get rid of the item before you can get a second one, else it'll just give you nothing even though you rolled it! Completing the quest with another Quartz in your inventory also eats the item!
