Summary:
Steropes in the Inggison Illusion Fortress said they received a report about suspicious Balaur activity from a patrol, and asked you to investigate.

Latis, the agent you spoke to, said that the Drakan scout they chased disappeared somehow with a strange device.

While helping him track down the Drakan scout, you found a mysterious device.

When you reported back to Steropes, the device activated and everything around you stopped.

Steropes said that a similar device was recently found in Inggison, and that there was a mysterious Dimensional Rift nearby. They asked you to investigate the inside of the rift.

There is a facility called "Tempus" inside the Rift, which seems to have been made by the Balaur.

While infiltrating and investigating Tempus, you found a report explaining the facility's purpose.

The power of the Bioactivated Siel's Relics developed in the Tiak Research Center is used here to manufacture clone troops with the power of Siel's Relics.

You infiltrated the deepest part of Tempus and met a girl shrouded in gold, locked in a research device.

But the girl disappeared before your eyes.

When you explained what you saw to Steropes after barely escaping Tempus, Steropes explained that the girl might be the Bioactivated Siel's Relics and you must find her before Tiamat or the Asmodians do.

Full quest's text:
I've been waiting for you, Player%.

I have a mission for you.

I was looking for a Daeva who is highly skilled and experienced, so you were the first person to come to mind.

Player: "What happened?"

We received a serious report from our patrol near the Weeping Valley.

They say they spotted unusual activity from the Balaur.

They witnessed a Drakan who uses a Strange Power that has never been seen before.

Player: "Strange Power...?"

We haven't received the details yet.

But since this is a Balaur issue, we can't just ignore it.

If they got their hands on some kind of power, we need to find out what it is.

This is a very dangerous job, so I want you to look into it yourself, Player%.

Can you visit the agent who spotted the suspicious Balaur and find out what's going on?

Player: "I'll take care of it."

Thank you so much.

I knew I could entrust this to you, Player.

I want you to visit Latis near the Weeping Valley in Inggison and hear what they saw.

Player: "I'll take the mission."

I'm sorry, but I'm on duty.

What brings you here?

Player: "You saw some suspicious Balaur?"

Ah, yes.

I heard that Steropes was sending someone.

I spotted a Drakan scout wandering around while I was patrolling a few days ago.

The scout looked like they came from the Red Drana Farm, so I was going to catch them before they cause any trouble.

But when I chased and drove him to a dead end, something strange happened.

Player: "What happened?"

They were mortally injured and I definitely drove them into a corner without anywhere to run.

But then, they pulled out something from their pockets. It started flashing brightly!

And thenthey just... disappeared.

Player: "Disappeared?"

It's hard to believe, but it's true.

There was no where to run, but they were gone in an instant.

At first I thought I must have missed some hidden door or escape, but I checked the whole area.

He was there, and then he was gone.

What do you think?

Player: "I'll look into it."

Thank you.

Since they are critically injured, they won't be able to get far.

I'm sure you'll be able to find him.

I appreciate your aid!

Player: "I'll be back."

(It's clearly the Drakan you were sent to find.)

(There must some kind of clue here.)

Player: (Search them.)

You're back faster than I thought.

Did you find the Drakan I told you about?

Player: "Here's what I found."

This is it! This is the item they pulled out right before they disappeared.

I've never seen such a thing before.

Do you know what this is?!

Player: "No?"

Me, neither.

I think we'd better show it to Steropes.

Since I'm on duty, I can't leave my post.

Can you go back to Inggison Illusion Fortress and show this to Steropes?

Player: "Sure."

Oh, there you are, Player.

Did you talk to the patrol?

Player: "I did, and..."

Hm. The Drakan used a strange device?

Can you show it to me?

Player: "Here you are."

Are you okay?

You look like you've seen a ghost.

Player: "So, the craziest thing just happened..."

This little device... stopped time?

I can't believe it.

If what you're saying is true, this is serious.

That means... if Tiamat has access to this power...

We've received a few other reports that a device similar to this one was found in Balaurea.

Specifically, we've received reports that it was found near the rift that appeared.

Player: "Where is it?"

I was going to ask you to go there, anyway. Thank you so much, Player%.

There must be a connection between this incident and the sudden rift.

We heard that a strange facility was found beyond the rift. Can you investigate?

Agent Lastian near the rift will tell you how to infiltrate it.

Player: "I'll head out right away."

Are you the Daeva?

The one here to investigate the rift?

Player: "Steropes sent me."

Ah, I've been waiting for you.

Everyone is on edge because of the rift.

They say there's a strange facility beyond it, but we couldn't investigate further. It's too dangerous.

But if Steropes sent you, you must be strong enough...

Since this is the first time and it can be very dangerous, I will send you beyond the rift.

When you arrive our undercover agent, Merellis, should be waiting for you.

Are you ready?

Player: "I'm ready."

Shhh, quiet. The Balaur might hear you!

Who are you? Are you the Daeva they sent to investigate this place?

Player: "That's me."

I can't get any further because there are so many Balaur.

Are you really going to go in by yourself? I'm impressed.

I don't know if this is going to be helpful, but I want you to have this item I found.

It looks like some kind of a Balaur device, but I'm not sure what it does.

You might be able to use it, though.

Good luck!

Player: "Thank you."

(You can see a piece of paper.)

(There is some kind of a report underneath the device.)

Player: "What's this?"

Tempus... I didn't know they were building such a facility.

You saw a girl shrouded in gold, and a strange device?

I can't be certain, but if Bioactivating Siel's Relics in the Tiak Research Center was successful...

Do you think that the girl is the Bioactivated Siel's Relics that Tiamat desperately wanted?

Tiamat might use the girl to do something terrible.

We need to find her before Tiamat and the Asmodians do.

I'll report this to my superiors.

Thank you for all your effort. I'll let you know when we have new information.
