Summary:
Pernos said that you must have a powerful spell of protection to go to Karamatis.

So you met with each of the Elim and Aetheric Field Protectors you met so far in Atreia, and received their blessings and Aether energy with the pearl Pernos gave you.

Upon returning from the trip, Pernos said he didn't ask you to meet so many people just because you needed the blessings, but because he hoped they would strengthen your resolve.

Full quest's text:
Player, it's amazing that you got to this point.

But if you think about it, I'm sure you probably didn't come to this point all by yourself.

While traveling throughout Atreia, you've probably been helped by many people and creatures, both directly and indirectly.

It looks like it's time to get their help once again.

Player: (Keep listening.)

You'll need an incredibly powerful spell of protection to go to Karamatis and complete your mission safely. It will help if you reconnect with the special people who have helped you along the way.

First, meet Daminu for a blessing. Then meet Lodas and Arbolu.

After that, meet ones who can wield the power of the Aether freely. The Aetheric Field Protectors will do.

Carry their blessings in this pearl. You'll be able to use their blessings when you need them.

It's going to be a long journey, but as long as you don't get impatient, it'll be worth it. You'll be able to show them the progress you've made and thank them for it.

Player: "Understood".

It's good to see you, Daeva.

Sometimes I wondered how you were doing.

From the looks of it, you've become a fine Daeva.

So what's going on, why did you come to see me?

Player: "I need the Elims' blessing."

It looks like you've got a tough job ahead of you, since you're asking for the Elims' protection.

I know that you have been of great service to the Elim.

It is time for me to repay you for helping out my brothers.

Take it, a blessing sent to you from the hearts of all the Elim.

Player: "Thank you."

It is good to see you again.

I owe you a lot.

Thanks to you, I am still the master of this forest, protecting this place.

Player: "I need the Elims' blessing."

It felt like you were on a difficult road. It seems your journey isn't over yet.

I will give it to you at any time, if you need my blessing.

May all Elim bless you on your way.

May all nature and life bless you.

Player: "Thank you."

It's been a while, Daeva.

Hehe, do you have business with Arbolu?

If it's not blasphemous, I'll pass it on to Arbolu.

Player: "I need the Elims' blessing."

Hehe, Arbolu gave permission.

It's because Arbolu did not forget that you stopped the Elims from being corrupted.

Come, kneel down in reverence.

Then Arbolu will bless you, hehe.

Player: "Okay."

Oh, now I remember.

You're the one who discovered that the Lepharist Revolutionaries had plotted to blow up Verteron Observatory.

I remember watching you do your job and thinking that you'll make it big someday.

So, what brings you to me today?

Player: "Please fill this pearl with Aether energy."

Looking at the pearl, it seems it's going to take a lot more strength than just mine.

It probably means you're getting ready for a difficult task.

I'm not sure what you're doing, but since it's you, I'm going to trust that it's for the best of Elysea.

(While holding both hands above the pearl.) May Player's path be blessed with the energy of the Aether and the blessings of the Empyrean Lords.

There you have it. When the going gets tough, may this Aether energy carry you through.

Player: "Thank you."

We meet again, Player.

It seems the five Empyrean Lords made my fate intersect with Player's.

Every time I look at Player and how much you've grown, I look back at myself.

I wonder if I've been neglecting my own development as a Daeva by focusing on my duties to protect the Aetheric Field Observatory.

I can tell by the look on your face that you business with me... What is it?

Player: "Please fill this pearl with Aether energy."

You're getting ready for some difficult work.

I don't think my power will help much, but hopefully it will be of some help to you,Player, when combined with other people's power.

(He closes his eyes and imbues Aether energy into the pearl.)

It's done, Player. I've imbued it with my power, however small. I hope you put it to good use.

May Ariel's protection be with you on your way.

Player: "Thank you."

Welcome, Player.

Last time, you completed an important mission for me, and I didn't even thank you properly.

I'm glad I can say thank you now. Thank you for helping me.

If it weren't for you, Player%, we'd still be debating whether the story of the Petralith is fact or legend.

But may I ask what brought you here?

Player: "Please fill this pearl with Aether energy."

To think that I can help Player%. It feels good.

The world works best when you give and take.

It's nothing compared to what Player% has done, but I'd be glad if it helps.

(While imbuing Aether energy into the pearl.) It sounds like you're preparing for a difficult task. I hope whatever you do, you don't lose your way.

If your will falters, your body is soon to follow.

Player: "Understood. Thank you."

Ever since the Balaur invaded Heiron, there hasn't been time to properly greet visitors.

It can't be helped since there's enemies right in front of us but...

So please understand even if we don't greet you properly.

By the way, what did you say you were here for?

Player: "Please fill this pearl with Aether energy."

That's not that hard, so I'll get right to it.

(He wraps his hands around the pearl and breathes in Aether energy.)

When things get too hard, you might get temped to avoid them.

But I think it's the attitude of a true Daeva to achieve your goals no matter what.

May you always be courageous, Player%.

Player: "Thank you."

Welcome, Player.

You look very tired and worn out.

May you walk out of the Lyceum free from all your burdens.

Player: "Please fill this pearl with Aether energy."

Looks like you're getting ready for something big.

Don't worry too much. If you do everything you can and pray to the five Empyrean Lords, they will surely take care of you, Player%.

(While imbuing Aether energy into the pearl) Merciful Empyrean Lord Ariel.

Your faithful Apostle, Player%, is preparing for a difficult journey. Please have mercy, and we ask that you will always protect Player% on this journey.

Player: "Thank you."

I didn't ask you to meet so many people just because of the blessings.

I was hoping that seeing them would strengthen your resolve.

Have you ever heard the saying that when three people go down a road together, one of them is certain to be a teacher?

Being a teacher doesn't mean that they're superior to you. It means that you should emulate the good and be wary of the bad.

I hope this trip has been a good teacher for you and that you've learned a lesson.
