One of my men just returned from Baltasar Cemetery with a report of a strange skull that's talking to anyone living who passes by.

It claims its name is Groznak and asks for help.

I knew a Human named Groznak once, before I ascended. What are the odds this could be the same person? And yet...

Player: "You're wondering, aren't you?"

Of course I wonder. A talking skull with the same name? Who could invent such a thing?

I'd go myself, but we're so shorthanded, neither I nor any of my troops can be spared to investigate.

Player, would you please find Groznak's Skull and see what it wants? Let's put this corpse to rest.

Player: Accept.

Groznak's Skull is at Baltasar Cemetery. If it's as chatty as reported, you should have no problem finding it.

Player: "Blood for blood indeed."

Daeva! Azphelumbra, Daeva! I beg you, help me!

My name is--was--Groznak. I met my destiny bravely, if I may flatter myself. My death came suddenly, however, and there was no one left to care for me.

I had no burial. My body is missing a few essential parts and without it I am trapped here, disgraced and forgotten. I fear that the evil of this place will eventually corrupt my mind.

I can't expect that you would find my own limbs, Daeva. But even a mismatched body would be a release I can only imagine. Look to the southeast throughout the cemetery and see what you can find. A few bones from the Weathered Skeleton, the Intact Skeleton, and the Muddy Skeleton might suit me. My gratitude will be eternal.

Player: "I will try."

Daeva, did you find the bones? I am so weary of waiting. The wind whistles through this old skull and drives me mad.


Player: "The bones are here."

Yes, yes....these will suffice. Chest, legs, and arms...all that I could require.

I must ask for another favor.... Would you assemble the body for me? I cannot move to do it myself....

Oh, shades, I'm so close....

Player: "I'll do it."

Azphel's shadow, it's true! The Groznak I knew was an creepy old shaman who lived in the area. He disappeared decades ago.

It seemed he was attempting to become undead in order to live forever, possibly even trying to become a Lich. Your death would have given him the last ingredient to complete his transformation.
