Of course, I speak of the Dragonbound. In some ways, they are worse than even the Balaur.

The Balaur kill. It is unpleasant, but it is direct, and swift.

The Dragonbound have a fanatic's sadism. They kidnap, torture, and only eventually kill.

Worse, their predations sometimes twist their victim's mind, turn them into a fellow Dragonbound fanatic. Thus the cycle widens.

Player: "Horrifying indeed."

But we need more power to move against them. Did you know that before the Cataclysm, the Jotun followed the will of Aion?

I believe their might could be brought to bear against Aion's enemies once more. But to do that, you need to infiltrate the Udas Temple. Can you do this?

Player: Accept.

Then go there--slay Deserter's Legatuses for their Balaur Flames, and Jotun Creators and Jotun Artisans for their Worthy Hammers.

With these, we can fashion mighty weapons and armor. In fact, we can create a special piece of chest armor just for you.

We will need 200,000 Kinah for other materials, but once we have enough Balaur Flames and Worthy Hammers, we can make the armor.

Player: "The task is mine!"

The Balaur Flames anneal the metal. Only Worthy Hammers can shape the result.

We need both to create our weapons and armor. Did you bring what I asked?

Player: "Flames, Hammers, and 200,000 Kinah."

This 200,000 Kinah will immediately go towards creating your chest armor.

Unfortunately, we may even more Balaur Flames and Worthy Hammers to create it, so in the meantime, you will be without.

Is this acceptable to you?

Player: "Yes, it is acceptable."

I'm afraid this is insufficient.

Balaur Flames, Worthy Hammers, and 200,000 Kinah are all needed to make your armor.

This task is vital if we are to fight the Dragonbound. Please complete what I asked of you.

I will consult with my smiths to ascertain that we have enough tools to complete the equipment we need. If so, your armor will be made at once. Otherwise, we'll need you to gather more.
