Talk to Oriata of the Past at the Throne of Blood. Talk to Israphel of the past at the Extradimensional Void. Investigate Concentrated Ide Crystal. Talk to Oriata of the Past at the Extradimensional Void. Order: Meet with Tiamaranta's Protector Oriata to learn the truth.
Summary:
In Tiamaranta, Protector Oriata of the Present told you that you had to go into the past to understand that the Ide has existed for a long time.

You returned to the past and saw Tiamat die. You examined Tiamat's body and found a Crumbled Ide Crystal.

Oriata of the Past told you that anywhere the power of Siel's Relics was activated, traces of Ide could be found. Then she sent you into another time in the past.

In that past, you saw Siel's Relics and Israphel. When you examined the place, you found a Concentrated Ide Crystal where Siel's Relics and Israphel had disappeared. Oriata of the Past showed you once more how the power of the Ide is connected to all other powers throughout time and how it has always existed.

Full quest's text:
We can proceed with the next step now that we know that the Ide acts on the power of the present.

But I must emphasize that the power of Ide was already here, not suddenly "discovered."

It's existed for a long, long time.

Player: "History's boring."

Mere words cannot convey all there is to know about the past and how to prepare for the future.

This is why I made preparations for you. Prepare to experience a truth that transcends time!

Activate this Riftsands to travel to back in time. There, you will experience how the power of the Ide was used in those times.

Player: "How far into the past?"

I'm sending you back to the last hour of Tiamat's life. You'll have to fight for your life against Tiamat the moment you get there. She will be holding Siel's Relics.

Don't worry. Tiamat is meant to die. The Power of Sealing I gave you in Sarpan will protect you.

Go and witness Tiamat's demise. Find the traces that remain in the place where Siel's Relics were activated. You'll understand me once you've witnessed Tiamat's Body.

Player: "This should be interesting."

It's the body of Dragon Lord Tiamat.

A powerful concentration of energy still surrounds the body.

No matter how you look at it, it's the power of Ide.

Player: "Sizzling."

Feel that familiar energy around Tiamat's body. Now, see what's appeared. Crumbled Ide Crystal. This is the Ide crystal that remained after exhausting all the power from Siel's Relics.

Ide fueled the power within Siel's Relics. That's why there are traces of Ide in places where Siel's Relics expelled their great power.

It's definitive proof that Ide had been in use for a long time.

Player: "More boring history lessons."

There's another past moment in time that will help you understand. It's when Siel's Relics and Lord Israphel vanished.

You'll witness Siel's Relics display its power another time. When everything is over, only Concentrated Ide Crystal will remain.

Find out if Concentrated Ide Crystal was left where Siel's Relics and Lord Israphel vanished.

Player: "Sure."

I didn't think anyone could come here.

Daeva, I'm afraid you will not find Siel's Relics here.

Instead, I will tell you something important because you helped me recover the relics from Tiamat.

Player: "Go on."

Back when the Tower of Eternity still stood, the Balaur rose up against Aion and tried to become gods themselves. Aion sent down the twelve Empyrean Lords to stop them.

Unfortunately, we could only maintain a stalemate by surrounding ourselves with the Aetheric Field.

We began to hear the laughter of Daevas and humans. They jeered at the incompetence of the Empyrean Lords and Aion. I could not stand for this and planned to eliminate the Dragon Lords with a single blow. I knew how to use the power of the tower, and was confident.

Player: "So what happened?"

We needed to coax the Dragon Lords near the Tower of Eternity in order to use its energy to eliminate them. We persuaded the other Empyrean Lords to offer peace and disable the Aetheric Field. Then we persuaded Beritra to eliminate the twelve Empyrean Lords when they gathered together, and escorted him into the peace conference room.

But we never thought Fregion would destroy the Tower of Eternity. Yes, our plan failed. The Cataclysm came. I hid myself while pretending to help Siel, when she sacrificed herself to form the Aetheric Field. I was arrogant, irresponsible, cowardly. You may laugh all you want.

It's of no matter. I've completed my plan to put an end to the tragedy I had caused.

Player: "What's the plan?"

I might as well tell you, since nothing can stop it now.

I will use my ability to rule space, and the power of Siel's Relics, to return Atreia to the beginning of time. Back to a time when the Tower of Eternity, Aion, emitted radiance and perfection!

I'll be the sole Empyrean Lord of a new Atreia and will lead all in the right direction. This is the only way I can redeem myself and atone for the bloodshet, destruction, and sacrifices I have caused.

But this plan cannot be without suffering. Do you understand, Daeva?

Player: "This is heavy."

(There is some power identical to the power detected from Tiamat's corpse. It seems to be a crystallized form of Ide created where Siel's Relic had been activated.)

Player: "Let me take a look."

Do you see now? Look closely at the Fragmented Ide Crystal. This is proof that Ide is within Siel's Relic. The proof is clear whenever it is activated.

Player: "I see."

Now you understand.

The fact that Ide fuels every kind of power has been completely forgotten.

You know the power of the Aether, but Ide is the deeper power within the power. Ide connects to all the other powers. It even surrounds us now.

It always has and always will. That is the truth.
