You met the Daevas who imbued the ring Perikles gave you with their blessings. You then took the ring to Fuchsia in the Library of the Sages. She sealed it, ensuring it wouldn't lose its power.

Full quest's text:
Countless men and women walk into this Lyceum as Humans and leave as Daevas, but none has shone with such...such fire!

I want you to take this ring I made. If you look closely you'll see five gems representing the Seraphim Lords. Look, here is Ariel, then Yustiel, Kaisinel, Vaizel, and Nezekan.

Now, you can leave this ring as it is or you can have it imbued. Imbued, the ring will sharpen your senses and aid you in your journey through life. Would you like to have it, Player?

Player: Accept.

I want you to seek out Five Daevas who have committed their studies to just one specific aspect of the Aether all around us.

First meet Valendir the bard, then Bellasia, the Daeva of Water. After seeing Bellasia, you'll need to speak with Aurnia, the Melancholy Daeva, then Demodocos, the Daeva of Fortune-telling.

When those four have all imbued your ring with Aether, you'll need to see Fuchsia, who will seal the Aether within the ring and leave it enchanted forever.

Player: "Valendir first then. I understand."

Ah, welcome to Sanctum, my friend! New faces are always welcome. I am Valendir, the greatest bard in all of Elysea.

That ring there, it's a Perikles design, is it not? He has much to learn of his craft, but I would be remiss not to enhance it.

I will weave the Aether into this ring with my words. I have learned all there is to learn about our language--my poems blend breath with Aether, my blessings bring benediction and deliverance to those lucky enough to receive them. My spoken word, Player, is your salvation.

Player: "Strong words."

Strong words for a strong message, young Daeva.

It is done. The ring has been imbued with my blessing, though you will not notice any difference until each of the five Daevas have done the same.

I wish you safe journey on your travels to Bellasia. Ariel's blessings, friend.

Player: "And to you."

Aether and water--the two aren't as different as you might think, Player. Water may not empower a Daeva as Aether does, but it is the lifeblood of all creatures in this world, just as Aether is the lifeblood of our planet.

If you look closely enough, you may begin to notice the natural flow of Aether. It moves as water does, but the routes it takes are guided by invisible banks.

What can I do for you?

Player: "I have this ring..."

Ah, a gift from Perikles! Such a pretty thing too, and I sense something in its small shape. Ahh... Valendir!

Allow me to imbue the ring with my own blessing. A drop of water from this fountain...yes...and it is done. The elements are powerful tools, as any Spiritmaster will tell you, and now you have one protecting your soul.

Nearby is the Artisan's Hall--a place of skilled tradesmen and women, a keyhole to the heart of the city. I believe Aurnia is waiting there for you.

Player: "Thank you for your help."

Oh...what is it?

Please, tell me nothing unsettling. I have heard enough ill omens today without having more troubling news poured on the embers of my spirits. I just wish to be left alone for a while. I have much thinking to do.

Oh, it doesn't matter. I can't very well hide, can I? What is it? What do you want?

Player: "This ring is a gift from Perikles...."

Ah, Perikles. I cannot deny him, when he has done so much for me. May I see the ring?

Hmm... His talent has grown considerably, and in such a short time. It is a pretty little thing, and you should be grateful for being lucky enough to receive it.

There--it now carries my own invocation. Now that this has been blessed by Valendir, Bellasia, and myself, next you would visit...Demodocos the fortune-teller. He's nearby, near the Northern end of the Artisan's Hall.

Player: "Thank you for your time, Aurnia."

Hmm, I felt a Daeva of great power approaching, yet I turn to find a young stripling before me. What kind of trickery is this? Your Aether is unlike any other...so unpredictable...so capricious.

Chaos surrounds your person, Player. I do not know what it means. Its dust and fury blinds even me to your destiny. Interesting.

Why have you come?

Player: "This ring...."

It glows with vitality. Clearly some powerful Daevas have offered it their blessings. Please, allow me to imbue it with my own power.

Hold it out so I can see it clearly...yes, that's right. Now a moment... My blessing is complete, and what a tool you now wield!

You cannot see it, but the Aether in it is incredibly powerful. It flashes like forked lightning. Now it needs sealing, before the Aether escapes and the ring reverts to its original form. Quickly, visit Fuchsia in the Library of the Sages. Go!

Player: "I'll run as fast as I can."

So many books here, and it's so hard to find the one you want!

And what good is a book that cannot be found? Its pages may as well be blank or torn out if those who seek enlightenment cannot have their thirst for knowledge quenched.

Ah, well, you must allow an old Daeva like me to complain once in a while. What can I do for you?

Player: "Demodocos had a vision about me..."

Well, chaos is not inherently malicious, it's simply the lack of order that we civilized beings are so used to.

The fact that Demodocos sees chaos around you could simply imply that you will facilitate change, spark something that our world may very well need in order to survive. You may bring about something that the Elyos people may ultimately be grateful for, Player.

Now, something else brought you here, that much I can see. What was it?

Player: "I'm to see you about this ring...."

Even from here I can sense the raw energy within Perikles' ring! It burns so brilliantly I fear it may even blind others who are sensitive to Aether.

Please, hand it to me now, so that I can seal the Aether inside the ring, and safeguard others from its fury.

Ah...there! My! I forgot how exhausting that is. I must...must catch my breath. Try...try it on...Player.

Player: "All right."

Such a beautiful ornament.

You must never lose it, Player. Many Daevas...have blessed it, and Perikles himself must have spent a...a great many weeks perfecting the design.

Now please leave. I've been drained, and need some time to recover. Take...take Ariel's blessings with you, Player....
