Summary: The agent has found out that the Balaur have set up multiple new artefact bases in Inggison, and wants you to get to the bottom of it. You’ve captured three artefact bases and observed the Balaur. In the process, you managed to find the Map of Inggison, an unknown object and a burned Balaur order. You reported to the agent. He asked you to find out the significance of each individual object, and what they’re used for. Full quest's text: Show/Hide There you are, Player. You’re fast, I wasn’t expecting you to get here so quickly after I asked. I’d like to ask you to look into something that happened recently. Have you got time to hear more about it? Did you know that new Balaur artefact bases have been built in Inggison? In the past, Balaur artefacts were only to be found near the Temple of Scales and Altar of Avarice. Now there are a lot more of them, and they’ve almost reached our Inggison Illusion Fortress. While we have nothing to fear from the Balaur, we can’t just ignore them either. There are a total of five artefacts in Inggison. Each one is unique in its own way. If we use them strategically, they can also offer us great advantages. But that doesn’t apply to the artefact bases surrounding the Inggison Illusion Fortress. There aren’t any artefacts inside the artefact bases yet. The Balaur seem to be up to something there. The Inggison Illusion Fortress is protected by Kaisinel. Why are the Balaur taking such a big risk? What are they planning? I’d like to ask you to look into the matter, Player. The Wildheart Grove Base, Phanoe Valley Base, and Wretched Garden Base pose a treat to the Inggison Illusion Fortress. Please capture the three artefact bases, maybe you’ll notice something out of the ordinary while you’re at it. Find out what the Balaur are planning and talk to the Elysian quartermaster. It’s extremely important that you complete this task quickly and precisely. I hope you’ll achieve satisfactory results. What brings you here? This is a high-security area. You have no business here, please leave. Outremus sent you? (Looks suspicious.) Hm, I did hear that someone would be coming, but... I’ve been instructed by my superiors that I’m to help this person with their inquiries... Did they really mean you? In that case, I’ll believe you. (Hands something over.) Here, please. This belongs to the Balaur who were besieging the artefact base. As you can guess, it’s a map of Inggison. Something illegible is written where the artefact base is marked. What reason could the Balaur have for wanting to take this area? If you find out, report back to the agent. I’m counting on you. Phew, you’ve come just at the right time. You’re Player, right? I’ve just received a message from the Wildheart Grove Base and was waiting for you. Is it correct that you are investigating the artefact base in Inggison and the activities of the Balaur? Hm, we didn’t notice anything special about the Phanoe Valley Base. The Balaur guard besieging the base had this on him. Would you like to take a look? It’s an unknown machine that doesn’t work. To get the machine working, you need this energy, now what was it called? Something like Si... I couldn’t listen properly with all the fighting, but the machine won’t work with regular energy sources. Maybe the Balaur are searching for the energy it requires, and that’s why they’ve been building bases in Inggison. Here, take the machine, Player. When you’re done with your research, report back to the agent. I’d be very grateful if you could do that. You’re later than I was expecting. I was getting worried about you and was about to come looking. We’ve received some very important information that we’d like to share with you quickly. I’m tired of waiting now! When we captured the artefact base in Wretched Garden, we could see a Balaur guard setting fire to something. And then suddenly I realised something. It’s typical of the Balaur to burn important documents, to destroy them. So we knew straight away that it had to be an important document. Which is why my comrades and I pounced on the Balaur and tried to get the document off him... (Goes into great detail about how they fought the Balaur guard and eventually snatched the document from him.) Hey, are you even listening to me? Haha, good, you’re listening to me. I’m sure you’re aware of how much we Daevas support Inggison and the Elyos, Player. Once, the Balaur guarding the base discovered us and started yelling... (He prattles on at great length about the fight against the Balaur.) Phew, you know what I mean, right? Oh, one more thing! Here’s the document we took from the guard. We can’t understand what it says, but you, Player, or your superiors, will soon crack it. (Hands over the singed document.) Take the Balaur orders and report what you’ve found out. But please be careful with it, it can easily fall apart. (Looks outraged.) Didn’t you listen to one word I said? Do you think that we quartermasters who supply you from afar are unimportant, Daeva? After all, we did our best and fought dutifully... Bet you can’t even remember my name... Just because you’ve been commissioned by a powerful superior doesn’t mean you can look down on us Daevas. Greetings, Player. How is it going with seizing the Balaur artefact bases in Inggison, and your surveillance of the Balaur? You found all this in the Balaur artefact bases? A map of Inggison, a strange device that doesn’t work, and some scorched orders... Considering you didn’t have much time, you’ve gathered a lot of information. Good work. Now let’s see how this information can help us. Basic Reward 133 274 102 XPOptional Reward - Expedition Elite Corundum Necklace - Expedition Elite Turquoise Necklace | |
