Description: Talk to Iapetos. Talk to Okeanos. Talk to Pontus. Talk to Taigeta. Talk to Musai. Talk to Moirai. Talk to Hypnos. Bring the document to Jakunerk. Bring the document that has been signed by the officers of each fortress to Jakunerk, so that the Black Cloud Merchants can consolidate their position in Reshanta. Summary: Jakunerk said that he intends to secure the position of the Black Cloud Merchants in Reshanta, and begin by sealing trade deals with the officers in charge of supplies in each fortress. He gave you a contract offering items cheaply in exchange for dealing only with the Black Cloud Merchants, and asked you to obtain signatures from the staff operation officers of each fortress. You did this, and Jakunerk was thrilled. Full quest's text: Show/Hide The higher-ups of the Traders have just issued a very important directive. They have found a way to make sure the Black Cloud Merchants have a secure place in Reshanta. If Daeva carries out this job well, not only will the Black Cloud Merchants be assured success, but Jakunerk should get a promotion! Akakak! Akakak! Well, we must get Elyos cooperation! I would like Daeva to take this document to each fortress and obtain signatures for us. There are many places that are too dangerous for me to go personally. Also, a Daeva trusts another Daeva more than they trust a Shugo.... It is the directive. We will offer discounts to the Elyos if they will deal only with the Black Cloud Merchants. Daevas will receive goods at much lower prices--we all benefit, akakak! Will you take this for me? Get all the signatures that we need? Akakak, thank you, Daeva! You will be so pleased! You need to get the signatures from the staff operation officer of each fortress. If they agree, have them sign here. If they don't agree, then get a signature of confirmation so we know that they read it. I know it will take a while but be as quick as you can. Ah, Daeva! I'm glad that you're here! We are actually short of soldiers. I have a few tasks for you. Er...what's that in your hand? The Black Cloud Merchants? I see... So the Shugos have decided to side with the Elyos in the Abyss War, have they? I find that hard to believe, as much as I'd like it to be true. Gah...I'll take the bait. Maybe something good will even come of it. Ah, Player! You've brought the supplies from Teminon Landing, right? Quick, quick--hand them over. Hmm... The Black Cloud Merchants are quite ambitious, it seems. They already monopolize trade in the Abyss. Now they need "official recognition," eh? This doesn't look like a bad deal for us, though. I'll go ahead and sign it. Say, you didn't happen to pass anyone with supplies on the way here...? Your serious expression gives your thoughts away. You have come on a matter of great importance. Show me at once. I think I understand what this is about. This Shugo, though... this Jakunerk... he is impertinent. Indeed, that whole group of Black Cloud Merchants are. How dare they waste Elyos soldiers on a task so petty as this. They should come themselves if they want any concessions. I will sign it for your sake, Player, but I will not tolerate this again. Excellent news! I’ve just heard that the legionaries who went out on patrol have smashed the Asmodians near the fortress! That’s a great weight off my shoulders, now I can breath easily. Oh, pardon me, Daeva, are you here on business? Hmm... I can’t imagine that’s really possible, but I have nothing against it. It’s absolutely irrelevant to me whether we source our materials from the Black Cloud Merchants or the Wind Breeze Shop, as long as we get the goods on time. I’ll sign if it’s so important to you, but woe betide we run into problems later... I’d heard that someone was visiting the fortresses with a Shugo document. But I didn’t think it would be you, Player. I’d love to know how you came to be running errands for the Shugos... but let me take a look at this here document before I say any more... Just as I’d heard. It seems the trade war between the Shugos is heating up, and the Black Cloud Merchants are making the first move. If I’m honest, I’m willing to sign this contract in recognition of their bravery alone. Of course, I’ve heard a lot about your deeds too, Player. Did you see any Asmodians on your way over here? Yes, there’s a camp not far from here... I think they’re up to no good. Oh... err... did you want something? Black Cloud Merchants, eh? Well, with all these other signatures here, I can’t see there being any harm in it. I’ll sign, if only because it comes recommended by you, Player. Just write my name here, right? What leads you all the way to the Divine Fortress? This place isn’t exactly on the main road... some people have even broken their necks trying to reach us... Do you bring word from Sanctum? So, the Shugos want to expand their trade influence all the way to the Divine Fortress, do they? Right into the heart of Reshanta? Now that’s what I call brave! Though there is a legend which says that it was the Black Cloud Merchants who discovered the Abyss in the first place, so many they know one or two routes unknown to the rest of us. I shall sign this document. Tell me though, what news of the other places you have visited on your travels? Did Daeva really receive all the signatures? Jakunerk is almost in tears when Jakunerk thinks of how much effort Daeva has given, ak. Here, ak! For a Daeva who completed such a task, a gift this big is only fitting, ak. This document will be a valuable treasure for the Black Cloud Merchants, ak.
