Full quest's text:
Sanctum is abuzz with your accomplishments. You have advanced the cause of the Empyrean Lords to the furthest corners of Atreia.

And in such a short time too... There is only one way to reward such strength and devotion.

Lady Ariel and the other Empyrean Lords have agreed... You are to become a Guardian.
Just as you should be. It’s an honour that only the best of the best achieve.

You will also receive a Mark of Guardian. It has special powers that will aid you in your future endeavours.

Of course, we’ll need to attune it to your unique personality.
You might have met Cerios already.

He’s a very empathetic person, and this allows him to see the innermost soul of any Daeva he meets.

Lady Ariel has given him the right to ask you questions in order to understand what your values are. In return, he will give you the title of Guardian, and everything that comes with it.
May you be blessed by this honorific.

Please make your way to Ardus Shrine.

Cerios is waiting for you there.
I’ve been expecting you.

Congratulations on your new title as Guardian.

I will listen to your heart and bestow upon you an appropriate skill.

What power is both the source of your life and the wayfinder for your future?
Ah, fire.... To walk through flame is to subject oneself to immense ordeals.

Knowing that, we walk through nonetheless, in the hopes of tempering our resolve and character in the flames.

What do you pledge to yourself based on this strength?
Ah, water... The cooling touch that can wear down even the greatest mountains.

Just as the ocean erodes the land, so does our patience chip away at obstacles that seem insurmountable.

But what is the true value of this ability to endure to you?
Ah, but honour only truly exists when those above you grant it, and those around you recognise it.

Daevas are still human, and humans are disparate and fallible. What if your superiors start down a path that you are sure will only lead to ruin?

Would you do what you think is right, or would you follow those you have sworn to obey?
Ah, but understanding of what? There are far more questions in life than answers.

Some seek answers in cold, hard fact. Others seek it in the infinite unknowns of philosophy.

What sort of understanding do you seek?
Ah, but love is as fickle and undefinable an emotion as there is. It takes many different forms.

The compassion felt for family and friend, for example. Or the heated ardor felt for lover or nation.

Which do you think drives the greatest deeds?
Ah, but what is the truth? Humanity has tried for its entire existence to find it, only to fail.

Much of the difficulty lies in the very definition of truth.

Is it something objective, an immutable fact? Or does it change with time, circumstance, or individual outlook?
Conviction is a commodity that humans and Lords have in equal measure.

But even the Lords make what are known as human errors, and that’s part of what makes us so strong.

Daevas like you allow every Elyos to live the way they wish to live.
I can see your heart. You believe in honour as a defining force in life.

By giving up your own will and devoting yourself to this path, you are demonstrating your deep respect to the Lords.

Daevas like you can be depended upon to bring greatness to our allies, and shame to our foes.
In a world in which truth is expressed in numbers, there can be no conflict and now wars.

There, the truth is strictly based on logic, and has both a virtuous side and a cold side.

Daevas like you ever expand our horizons, bringing us power in the form of enlightenment.
The order of the world, which has existed in Aion since the very beginning, was not made by humans.

This wonderful world came about thanks to divine providence and the power of Aether.

And we stand before this wondrous place with reverence and respect.
I see your heart. You are driven by boundless compassion for your fellow beings.

You burn with the desire for all to live free, and cannot stand to see the soul's desire smothered without reason.

Daevas like you have hearts as big as the Abyss, and all are comforted by your presence.
I can see your heart. You are driven by a hot fervor for your people, both in general and in particular.

You know that such passion is what makes life worth living, and that such emotions are as real as any physical object.

Daevas like you keep morale high, and love for Atreia strong in all hearts.
I can see your heart. You believe in a single absolute truth which must in the end prevail.

You believe there is but one path to righteousness, and that no obstacle must lie in the path of those walking it.

Daevas like you keep us all focused and unified, strong in our status as Aion's champions.
I can see your heart. You know that truth is subjective, and therefore seek to understand what others believe.

You know that life can shape individuals in many different ways, and that knowing what they see is key to bringing them together.

Daevas like you unite the disparate masses under Aion, and show us that despite our differences, we are still one people.
I have one final question for you that will help me determine your fate.

A question that separates humans from Daeva and teaches them the true meaning of dignity!

... Do you prefer the colour black or the colour white?
Then I have one final question for you that will help me determine your fate.

Which do you think supports the world: the sky or the earth?

Then I have one final question for you that will help me determine your fate.

Which environment is better for Humanity: the city or the countryside?

Then I have one final question for you that will help me determine your fate.

Which kind of dreams are more valuable: those you have when asleep, or those you have when awake?

The colour black is the beginning of all things, and carries the light of the world into even the darkest of forgotten corners.

I can see the generosity in your heart. You use it to enrich the world around you.

I now bestow upon you an exalted skill, and declare you, Player, a Guardian.
Then you understand that to suppress the will of an individual renders the whole society meaningless.

You have chosen white. May your inner spirit be blessed.

I now bestow upon you a powerful skill, and declare you Guardian.
You know, of course, how to serve the sky, even as its endlessness reflects the endlessness of your own spirit.

The coming generations in the sky will know to uphold your immeasurable skills.

I now bestow upon you a greatly needed skill, and declare you Guardian.
Just as the earth is the beginning and the end of the infinite cycle of life, so too are you.

Daeva, you have been blessed by the oracle! You are Atreia’s beginning and end, and to speak your name is to bless those who hear it.

I now bestow upon you a well-earned skill, and declare you Guardian.
Everything has a source, all life, and you will wield the power to protect the source of Atreia itself.

You have been chosen by the Lords, but your end only knows destiny.

I now bestow upon you a skill that holds your destiny ready for you, and declare you Guardian.
Every end is merely a new beginning, full of possibilities, and your end too will herald a beginning.

Follow the call of your destiny, and your name will be remembered forever in the annals of Atreia.

As directed by fate, I now bestow upon you a new skill, and declare you Guardian.
You will shine as brightly as the sun that lights the day and fills the world with life.

The sun tells us how to look beyond our corporeal sight, to find meaning even in the most seemingly meaningless events.

With holy authority, I now bestow upon you a new skill, and declare you Guardian.
Perfect. Our waking dreams give us something to strive for, a true reflection of the ambitions that make life worth living.

They tell us how to look beyond our corporeal sight, to find meaning even in the most seemingly meaningless events.

With holy authority, I now bestow upon you a new skill, and declare you Guardian.
I bestow upon you the symbol of the guardian of life, and you shall receive a summons to the temple of Yustiel.

Yustiel is the life protector. Everyone in his temple will know your name.
