Description:
Meet with Class Preceptors and hear their advice Meet with Fermina and hear their advice again Talk to Fermina and choose your path Return to Fermina once your body is filled with DP Receive Daevanion armor from Fermina Fermina offers to help you realize the purpose behind the existence of Daevas. Meet the Class Preceptor and listen to her advice.
Summary:
Fermina says to meet the Class Preceptor and seek their teachings about the purpose behind the existence of Daevas.

The Class Preceptor said that by continuing to fight and continuing down the path of the [%userclass], you can realize the purpose of your existence.

When you went back to Fermina, she said she would help you continue down the path of a Daeva, and told you to fill your body with DP.

After filling up on DP, Fermina infused your armor with your overflowing Holy Servant and made you a Daevanion armor.

Full quest's text:
Humans do not know much about the lives of Daevas. It's hard to know what you've never experienced for yourself.

They merely think of it as a change in which you gain excellent abilities and eternal life compared to your past self.

This is why, if someone they know ascends as a Daeva, it is celebrated as a blessing from the Empyrean Lords.

They don't realize the responsibilities, missions, or pain of that person after they ascend.

Newly ascended Daevas are not much different, either. Few know with certainty what awaits them in their long lives to come.

Player: (Keep listening.)

Truthfully, there are not many Daevas who have reached the level you have, Player.

It is not easy to bear the never-ending sacrifices and responsibilities demanded of a Daeva.

However, bearing these sacrifices and responsibilities is not the hardest part.

How long does one have to keep making these sacrifices? What is the reason for them? Are these responsibilities and missions even worth anything...?

Daevas lose their purpose and fall into chaos when they cannot answer these.

Are you willing to find the answers to this chaos and try to evolve another level as a Daeva?

Player: Accept.

Then it's best you look back at your own origins.

When you were first born and when you first became a Daeva, you must have made a choice, Player.

Check to see if you made the right choice and if you're taking proper responsibility for your choices.

Seek out your Class Preceptors and ask for their teachings.

Player: "Understood."

I see you aren't here to learn a skill.

If a Daeva of your caliber came to see me, Player, I can probably guess what it's about. I suppose it would be polite to have you tell me yourself, though.

Why have you come to see me?

I'll gladly help if it's within my power to do so, so speak candidly.

Player: "What is purpose behind the existence of Daevas?"

I thought that's what you'd come to seek advice from me about.

I once had the same worries as you. It's not just you or me, but every Daeva ponders the same thing.

Not only that, but Gladiators and Templars are constantly called into battle, so compared to other Daevas, their worries are even greater.

Does fighting like this really help Atreia? Is there a point to keep fighting an enemy that never dies?

However, I believe the best solution is to stay resolute and continue down the path of the [%userclass] in these situations.

Player: "Will I really be able to find the answer like that?"

Patience and courage are the most important virtues of Gladiators and Templars.

In other words, if you never lose patience and courage, that is when you can become the best [%userclass].

However, it is not easy to achieve that level of patience and courage.

That can never be attained without facing difficult trials that make you want forsake all, or overwhelming fear that makes you want to return to your Bind Point.

I speak from experience when I say, you will know the purpose of a Daeva when you reach the highest pinnacle, because there will be no more agony.

So be resolute, and continue down the path of the [%userclass]. That will lead you to your answer.

Player: "Thank you for your insight."

Thank you for coming and asking me for advice.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be of much help to you.

I don't know much about the path of the [%userclass].

How about seeking out your Class Preceptor?

Player: End conversation.

If you're not here to learn a skill, then what do you need?

Have you discovered any new poisons?

I don't think anything like Meslamtaeda's Blood will ever appear again...

Player: "What is purpose behind the existence of Daevas?"

I see you're already pondering the reason for the existence of Daevas, Player%.

You are an excellent Daeva in many ways, so it's understandable. A mindless person would never ponder such a thing.

I'd bet you're most concerned with...

Does fighting like this really help Atreia? Does advancing one day and retreating the next really help us achieve victory?

However, you shouldn't waver in those moments. The fastest path to discovering your answer is to resolutely continue down the path of the [%userclass].

Player: "Will I really be able to find the answer like that?"

Intelligence and experience are the most important virtues of Rangers and Assassins.

The great abilities of the [%userclass] are to find ways to calmly overpower your enemy in any situation and lead them into pre-set traps.

However, it is not easy to attain that level of shrewdness and experience. You must constantly deal with enemies and gain a lot of experience in combat.

I speak from experience when I say, you will know the purpose of a Daeva when you reach the highest pinnacle. You will learn it through experiencing difficulty.

So be resolute, and continue down the path of the [%userclass]. That will lead you to your answer.

Player: "Thank you for your insight."

I'm thankful you came to me, but unfortunately, I cannot help you.

I don't know much about the path of the [%userclass].

How about seeking out your Class Preceptor?

Player: End conversation.

You don't look like you've come to learn a skill. Seems like you have something you'd like to discuss.

Conversations with new Daevas is always fun.

So tell me, what can I help you with?

Player: "What is purpose behind the existence of Daevas?"

All Daevas question the purpose for their existence at one point or another. I struggled with that myself at one point.

The reason why such concerns arise seems to be largely due to the desire to live your own life and the duties of a Daeva being in conflict with each other.

Additionally, the worry that the constant use of magic might actually be depleting the Aether in Atreia.

However, there's only one thing that I can say about this. The answer will come when you resolutely continue down the path of the [%userclass].

Player: "Will I really be able to find the answer like that?"

The virtues required of Sorcerers and Spiritmasters are understanding the 4 elements of fire, water, earth, and wind, as well as having wisdom.

In other words, perfectly understanding nature and the power of Aether, as well as having the wisdom to use it properly, is the way to become the best [%userclass].

To do so, you must constantly use magic and experiment a lot. The fastest and simplest route is through combat.

You will know the purpose of a Daeva when you reach the highest pinnacle. I speak from experience, so trust me.

So set a goal and continue down the path of the [%userclass]. Only then, will you find all your answers.

Player: "Thank you for your insight."

I'm afraid you think too highly of me.

I only know the ways of the Sorcerer and the Spiritmaster.

I have close to nothing to tell you about the path of the [%userclass].

How about seeking out the [%userclass] Preceptor?

Player: End conversation.

Welcome, Player.

I always welcome a chance to have a private chat like this.

So tell me, what brought you to seek me out?

Player: "What is purpose behind the existence of Daevas?"

So you've come to that fork in the road as well, Player. Any diligent and capable Daeva would contemplate this at least once in their life.

'Why do I struggle so hard to fulfill my responsibilities and carry out my missions? Is it really worth it?'

It's not surprising that questions like these arise as one goes day in and day out through the same, repetitive motions.

However, the only thing I can tell you is that you have to keep going down this path to find your answer. Continuing on the path of the [%userclass] until you reach its end is the only way.

Player: "Will I really be able to find the answer like that?"

The virtues required of Clerics and Chanters are sacrifice and mercy.

Although they're not found at the front lines of battle like other Daevas, their great responsibility lies in protecting lives.

Of course, if you want to protect other Daevas, you will need to head into battle with them.

You will know the purpose of a Daeva when you reach the highest pinnacle as a [%userclass]. I speak from experience, so trust me.

Do not worry about anything else now. Stick to the path of the [%userclass] and you will find your answers.

Player: "Thank you for your insight."

While I'm thankful you've come to me for advice, I don't think I can help you, Player.

I know a lot about Clerics and Chanters, but I don't know anything about [%userclass].

I think seeking out the Player Preceptor might be best.

Player: End conversation.

Are you successfully carving out your own path, Player?

You are the only one who can find the right answers on the path you chose.

However, I believe I can help you.

Player: "What is purpose behind the existence of Daevas?"

You choose and carve out your own destiny, so it's no wonder you're doubting and agonizing over it.

Do not struggle to shoulder everything yourself. Figure out what values are most important to you and the path you'd like to walk. The answer may come to you then.

Questioning all choices is natural and necessary. It's about creating your own answers rather than finding the answers of someone else.

All I can tell you is that the path of the [%userclass] is not predetermined. I wonder it will lead you.

Approach your journey with conviction for yourself and only yourself.

Player: "Will I really be able to find the answer like that?"

Why did you choose to become an Executor? Wasn't it to take responsibility for your own choices and not follow a path constructed by someone else?

As long as you have conviction as an [%userclass], you will become the best Daeva, no matter what choices you make.

Then you'll naturally realize and shape the purpose of your existence.

The way others see you or what they think is unimportant. As always, the path of an Executor is... yes, it's carving your own destiny.

Player: "Thank you for your insight."

While I'm thankful you've come to me for advice, I don't think I can help you, Player.

I only know the ways of Executors.

I don't know anything about [%userclass].

It would be best if you'd seek out the [%userclass] Preceptor.

Player: End conversation.

You've returned, Player.

Have you spoken with the [%userclass] Preceptor as I recommended?

Did you receive their teachings?

What did they have to say?

Player: "The Preceptor said..."

My thoughts are pretty much the same.

You will naturally find the answers you seek if you continue down the path of the [%userclass].

However, I can't just force you to walk the path of the [%userclass] for no reason.

Here's something that will be of help to you, Player.

Player: "Please, go on."

There are Daevanion armor and weapons, which are only meant for Daevas. These battle gear have the ability to extract Holy Servant from a Daeva's body and infuse it into themselves.

You can notice a difference even with just one of them, but with all five pieces of armor, the effects are greatly multiplied.

Just one thing, though... since Holy Servant is extracted from a Daeva's body to make the Daevanion armor, there are only two opportunities in one's lifetime.

Once at this level of achievement, and once more at an even higher level of achievement. Thus, the only way to gain all the armor, one must live multiple lives.

However, it will still be worth it. If you have all five pieces of the Daevanion armor set, you can get the Daevanion weapon.

Player: "I see."

Anyway, if you have even one piece of Daevanion armor, it will help you walk the path of the [%userclass].

But first, I would like to hear your thoughts, Player.

You've heard what the Class Preceptors and I have had to say. You must have some thoughts.

How are you planning to figure out the fundamental meaning behind the existence of Daevas, Player?

By advancing down the path of combat? Or by continuing to walk the path of the [%userclass]?

Player: "I will walk the path of ceaseless combat."

You've chosen the path of ceaseless combat?

Your moment of enlightenment will come as you continue to fight tough battles.

I'll help you realize the purpose behind the existence of Daevas and tell you the first step in obtaining Daevanion armor.

Continue to fight and fill your body with DP. Then I'll infuse the DP into your Daevanion Armor, Player.

If you're ready, you can begin right now.

Player: "Yes, I'll start right away."

You've chosen to pursue the path of the [%userclass]?

Your moment of enlightenment will come as you use your skills with pride in your choice and your class.

Player: "Yes, I'll start right away."

I've been waiting for you, Player.

How do you feel about the path of ceaseless combat?

Do you sense that you've found something?

You're probably still far from realizing the purpose behind the existence of Daevas. However, the path will become easier if you have Daevanion Armor.

You've filled your entire body with DP, yes?

Player: (Nod.)

Didn't I tell you? You must fill your entire body with DP.

If not, you will not be able to infuse Holy Servant into your armor, Player.

Continue to fight, and come back once you've filled yourself with DP.

Player: "Okay."

I've been waiting for you, Player.

Player: "Okay."

Player, take this. This is the armor infused with Holy Servant.

This item will help you as you walk the path on your search for the purpose behind the existence of Daevas, Player.

It's not time yet, but the day will come when all of your questions will be answered, Player.

Keep at it and I hope the moment of enlightenment finds you soon.
