Summary:
While discussing all the events that happened with the mysterious helper, you felt something was off.

It was theorized that there was something involved in making the Daevas submit so easily without any suspicion about their identities.

You decided to investigate the Potions Lab to uncover the truth of the mansion.

You defeat a researcher affiliated with the lab to transform into a researcher and infiltrated the Potions Lab.

While talking to the Overworked Researcher and Research Director, you realized that the Lumiere's Potion you drank at the mansion was made of Black Drana and that it was being used to entice and control the Daevas.

You took a sample of the potion in the lab and destroyed the ingredients, recipe, and Potionmaking Device.

When you returned to the mysterious helper and told her about the potion, she said she finally understood why everything happened.

Full quest's text:
Player, I know you've come face to face with the worst...

But I have trust that you'll be able to overcome it.

We need to uncover the truth about this mansion for your dead friends, as well as any that may still be alive.

Only we can do this job.

Player: "I know... But how did so many Daevas end up like this? Without egos, without suspicions."

I knew you'd also think something was off, Player.

I was just about to tell you about that.

The "enlightenment" they speak of here seems to be some sort of training process where they control and force misleading information on the Daevas.

Although I'm a bit bothered by this memory initialization they talk about in the records.

It seems like everything is connected.

Player: (Nod in agreement.)

So to summarize everything we've found out so far, the Balaur are kidnapping Daevas from all over Atreia.

They then initialize these Daevas' memories and send them to the mansion to be trainees.

Here, they entice the Daevas by teaching revisionist history and concepts, as well as preaching about an non-existent place called the Paradise of Eternity.

If after cultivating the Daevas in such a manner the Daevas aren't to their standards, they dispose of them... Right?

Player: "Right. But didn't you say this wasn't the first place like this you've seen?"

It's not my first time seeing a Daeva prison or Daeva lab run by the Balaur, but they're not quite like this place either.

The weird thing about this place...is that they're able to disintegrate the Daevas' egos simply through education.

Like you mentioned, Player, they have no awareness of self nor suspicions. How can they make everything about the mansion be taken for granted?

I think...there's something else. Something brainwashing the Daevas.

Look. This place called the "Potions Lab"seems a bit suspicious, no?

We should look into this place.

Player: (End dialog.)

Hey. Have you heard about the insufficient supply of Black Drana?

Geez... How are we supposed to make potions without the ingredients?

If we don't revamp the potion recipe as soon as possible, we'll be in trouble.

How much do we have left for the trainees in the mansion...? Let's see...

Player: (Pretend to listen.)

Oh no! Only two days worth! This is bad!!!

No wonder they're draining so fast. We gotta supply breakfast, lunch, AND dinner!

The higher-ups are pressuring us to produce them faster because apparently we need them to control the Daevas more easily.

From what I heard, the potion causes your mind to become clearer while slowly erasing your memories...

It's effective for sure, but changing the recipe is...

Oh, whatever. There isn't enough time to be complaining! Let's get to work!

Player: (End dialog.)

You're not here to say you can't make the potions by the deadline again, are you?

I've already given you my answer!

I know we're lacking Black Drana.

That's why I told you to make the most out of whatever's available!

Are you just gonna suck on your thumb because it take critical thinking? Then what about the supply for the mansion?

Player: (Quietly pretend to listen.)

Oh, and also! We can't have any more defectives like last time. No excuses about being in a rush is what I'm saying!

I got an earful about the increased aggression for a potion that was made to more easily control the Daevas...

The more defects there are, the more mansion trainees that'll have to be disposed.

Craft the potions so they'll be submissive and unaware.

It can't be that hard to revise an already existing recipe, no?

Player: (End dialog.)

(There's a familiar smell wafting from the liquid inside the container.)

(It seems to be the same smell and color as the Lumiere's Potion you used to take in the mansion three times a day.)

(It's labeled "Lumiere's Potion - Efficiency Test" on the container.)

Player: (Pour some out inconspicuously.)

There are still parts of your memory you need to recover.

Lets go back to where we last cut off.

Close your eyes, inhale as deeply as you can... Good, just like that...

Focus solely on your breath.

Player: You start disassociating and feel airy.

Just as I expected.

It was the potion. The method for enticing the Daevas and making them easy to manipulate!

Player. You said you also consumed it while training in the mansion, right?

Lumiere's Potion, I mean.

The potion had been continuously erasing Daevas' memories and making them easy for the Balaur to control...

... It all makes sense now. Everything that happened in the mansion.
