It seems every day there's less fog near the Observatory.

It makes me wonder if there's a problem with the Nepra trees--or with Hreidmar himself.

Player: "What kind of problem?"

Hreidmar guards the spirits around here--a magnificent creature, but he's not exactly friendly. I'm afraid I haven't managed to stay on good terms with him.

You see, Hreidmar protects the Nepra trees, and the trees create the fog...so naturally, Hreidmar considers anything the fog touches to be part of his domain!


Player: "Naturally..."

If there's a problem, though, perhaps we ought to offer to help.

He'll never ask, of course, but it might improve his attitude....Azphel knows it could use some improving.
Player, will you go to Hreidmar and see if there's something we can do for him?

Consider it a diplomatic mission of sorts....

Player: "Understood."

Explain your interruption or begone. You disturb my peace.

Player: "Tyr thinks there may be a problem...."

A problem, yes. The Mau...the Mist Manes. Something they're doing is alarming my Nepra trees.

It would please me to know more, but to accept help from Asmodians...well...I've not fallen quite so low.

Player: "How can we earn your trust?"

Trust, you say? There's only one Asmodian I trust--Ahin. And she is far from here, in the Abyss.

But if she spoke for you, and only then...I might be convinced.

Player: "I'll be back soon."

Is there something I can do for you? Soul healing is my duty and calling.

But that's not why you're here, is it, Daeva? You have come for a very different purpose--I can sense it.

Player: "It's about Hreidmar...."

Now I understand! Hreidmar is not the most trusting of creatures. And to him we're inferior beings anyway!

It took me years to gain Hreidmar's trust, but you don't have years, so I'll give you this Token to take back to him. He'll know that only I could have given it to you.

I know your reputation and I trust your integrity, Player. I believe you'll use my Token well. Be warned, though, if you lose Hreidmar's trust, you'll have lost mine as well.
