Sanctum isn't interested in restoring Theobomos merely for historical reasons.

There was once a weapons research laboratory here, during the Millennium War. Sanctum has a deep interest in recovering those weapons.

Just imagine the power they might hold.

We haven't found any weapons or schematics yet, but we believe we know where to get some.

Those brutish Calydons seem to worship ancient Atreian artifacts as gods or somesuch. It's possible their carvings will give us some clue what sort of weapons we're looking for.

It's a dangerous mission--you'll have to head straight into the Calydon village.

Player: "And kill them single-handedly?"

Ideally not. Hestia in Sanctum makes magical candies that can change your form.

Talk to her and get something that'll disguise you as a Calydon. You'll be able to walk through their village undetected.

Once you've got it, talk to Jamanok. She knows the area. When you have the rubbings, take them to Serimnir.

Player: "Faith and arms."

What do you need?

Player: "I'm looking for Calydon Candy."

I do have some of those in stock...

You want to see the Calydon Relics? They're near the Broken Fang Bridge, if I remember right.

That candy's effects won't last long. You should save it until you get to the bridge. Just across there is a stone plate, buried in the dirt. That's what you need to look at.

Hmmm...they're crude, but I think the carvings are referring to Project Drakanhammer. It was a top secret project near the end of the Millennium War.

They seem to believe it's the son of Aion, created to watch over them--and destroy them if they go astray.

If you're looking for weapons, then Project Drakanhammer is, well...it's the right place to look.

Sanctum mentioned that they were looking for this. They didn't say what it was exactly, and I'm not even entirely sure they know.

A weapon the Empyrean Lords never knew about? A colossal engine of destruction, apparently?

We have to find out more.
