Summary:
Priest Trou has a recurring nightmare about an angry spirit named Kirenne. He asked you to investigate the Manor Cemetery where this spirit resides.

You met the spirit of Kirenne in the public cemetery. He told you Nerison was partly responsible for the collapse of the Medeus Manor.

You went to Nerison, heard his story, and told it to Kirenne.

Full quest's text:
The Empyrean Lords have seen fit to gift me with visions, but sometimes I don't understand their meaning.

These last few nights, I've dreamt of a spirit calling himself Kirenne. He storms around Medeus Manor in a rage--he's full of resentment.

I wake in a sweat, expecting to find him above my bed devouring my soul.

Player: "That's disturbing."

That's an understatement. It feels far too real.

I need to discover the truth.

Nezekan has revealed you as the only Daeva I can rely upon. Are you willing to heed the Empyrean Lord's call and aid me?

Player: Accept.

Thank you, Player. You have my gratitude.

If my dream is true, this Kirenne was buried at the Manor Cemetery in Medeus Manor East. See what more you can learn--if he existed, who he was, what his story may be.

May the protection of Lord Nezekan be with you!

Player: "Sleep in Ariel's light--I'll return soon."

You were gone so long I began to fear for your life, Player. It's good to see you in one piece.

Was Kirenne's grave really there?

Player: "It was indeed...."

Aion's wings! It's true! The ways of the Five are mysterious.

Now, you said Kirenne held a grudge against someone named Nerison? I know that name....

I remember! Nerison is the Daeva of Zephyr at the Research Center Overwatch. He came down here once to meet Luke and Kravis.

Player: "I wondered if he was real."

He's real indeed, and it seems he has unfinished business.

Would you meet with Nerison, Daeva? Find out if he did anything to provoke Kirenne into holding a grudge.

May the protection of Lord Nezekan be with you!

Player: "And with you."

Hail, Daeva! You look like you're on a mission. You haven't come here to relieve any of us, have you? We could certainly use it.

We're so understaffed that I not only keep an eye on the Lepharist Research Center, I do Sentinel work as well.

Ready to get to work?

Player: "I'm not your relief, I'm here about..."

Kirenne, eh? Well, that may be....

Hundreds of years ago, Medeus Manor asked for reinforcements. My duty was to assess the situation, and things didn't look all that serious. I told them we couldn't spare troops. As I left, a local man stopped me. He...he knelt down and begged me to change my mind.

There was nothing I could do. We were short of Guardians and had to deploy our forces carefully.

Player: "I would have done the same."

Not long after I got back to Sanctum, I heard Medeus Manor got crushed by the Krall. I was shocked to hear it--didn't sleep for weeks.

I still dream about it sometimes.

I can't leave here to comfort this ghost--the Lepharists may move at any time. Would you talk to Kirenne for me? Tell him I regret...his fate. And that I'm sorry.

Player: "I'll tell him."

What makes you so sure? Wait a couple hundred years, get some real experience, and then see if you're as confident.

If I had it to do over again, I'd do the same.

Many places needed more support than Medeus Manor. War is about making tough choices. I made the best decision I could.

Player: "Fair enough, Daeva."

Asked for forgiveness, did he? I never thought he'd admit he was wrong.

Hundreds of years of misery...grief...

If you see Nerison again, tell him I forgive him. As for the Krall, withhold all mercy--massacre them. That's my revenge.

It's time--at last--to return to the flow of Aether. Thank you, Player. Thank you so much.
No regrets, eh? No second thoughts? He said that even after seeing what happened here?

His misjudgment killed all my family and neighbors....

I will never forgive him. May Azphel take him!
