It's the city of the ancient Jotun people, who held power far beyond anything our imaginations. It's hard to believe without seeing it all for yourself.

This place is fascinating. I wish I had time to investigate it more, but for now I have to focus on the artifact. Maybe one day....

Sorry, where was I? Right. I've discovered three important things already. First, while Evergale Canyon is now in ruins, it used to be a lively city.

Second, the destruction that caused all of this was because of a core fragment of some ancient artifact.

Third, this fragment still has a strong grip over Evergale Canyon. Do you feel stronger than before? That's its effect.

Player: "This must be a very powerful artifact."

It is! As much as I want to continue my research into this place, retrieving the core fragments before they fall into the wrong hands is more important right now.

If we can retrieve these fragments, I can continue investigating Evergale Canyon and uncover more of its secrets.

I'm still not used to all of the odd things happening here, even though we know what's causing them. They're unlike anything I've ever seen.

This is why our mission is so critical, Player. I have some information that will help you aid our efforts when you're ready to hear it.

Player: "I'm ready."

Our main priority is retrieving the core fragments from Evergale Canyon and marking the artifacts, all while protecting them from the Asmodians. I believe that the more Daevas join in, the more fragments we'll uncover.

From what Abigail has learned, we know that you can either hunt creatures with fragments or by coordinating with the fairy to find them elsewhere.

There is a chance that the Captain will be attacked, which would change the entire tide of the battle. We must make sure we work quickly to retrieve the fragments and ensure our victory.

Player: "I understand."

I don't think there's much left for me to tell you. You should visit the Supplies Quartermaster to stock up on everything you'll need for the mission. Reda will give you more information when you get there.

Player: "Thank you, Erios."

Being tactically smart with your War Supplies is one of the best ways to make sure we have the upper hand in this fight. You'll need War Points to exchange for them, but there are many ways to acquire these.

You'll gain War Points simply by being in Evergale Canyon and will earn even more by defeating the creatures who live here or those gloom-cursed Asmodians.

When it comes time to buy War Supplies, make sure to choose wisely. You won't get your War Points back if you change your mind.

Oh, and your War Points and Supplies will disappear once you leave Evergale Canyon, so use them while you can.
