Much time has passed since Ereshkigal escaped from Drakenspire, raised the Eye of Reshanta, and returned to Lakrum. But her fury, her resentment, never waned.

Ereshkigal has reproduced this shameful moment from her past inside the Lakrum Fortress.

Nobody knows.

My best guess is that she wants the world to remember her disgrace at the hands of Fregion, and the revenge she exacted against the Elyos who conquered Drakenspire Depths.

Our mission is to enter the Infernal Drakenspire Depths through the fissures and investigate Ereshkigal’s memory.

Though it may only be an echo of the past, the strength of Ereshkigal's memories still make whatever beasts we find within it formidable. Don't let your guard down.
