Full quest's text:
Greetings, Daeva, I'm Nixkon. I'm an explorer and an archaeologist! I'm here to conduct research based on a hypothesis I have about this new continent, but I need an assistant.

Can you help me, Daeva? Part of your task will be to help keep me objective. I'm so excited about this theorey that I'm afraid I may subconsciously try to skew my findings.

What do you say? Can you help? I'm going to Black Fin Village, so you have time to think about it!

Player: Accept

You came! I'm glad to see you... assuming you're planning on helping me.

Okay, first question! Did you see the Black Fin tribe? What do they look like to you?

Player: "Like... Fish....ish?"

That's right! They DO look rather fishy!

I'm one step closer to proving my theory. But I'll need samples of the soil from around here, particularly the ones rich in salt!

Look for Loose Soil around the Northern Crimson Hill and bring me Salty Soil Samples. I'll get my tools ready!

Player: "Salty soil samples. Sure."

Do you have the samples I asked for?

Player: "Here."

This soil is so... textured!

The surface is dry, while the inside is a little moist, as if it was completely soaked and then partially dried... And the soil feels crunchy, as if it was frozen once, then melted, and hardened again.

How interesting! Isn't this interesting?

Player: "As interesting as dirt can be, sure."

The creatures in that village look like they're more fit for aquatic life than living on land.

In these cirumstances, especially when you're dealing with sentient creatures, the best possible course is to ask them!

Unfortunately they seem quite hostile, so that's not actually an option. But I've thought of another way!

Player: "I'm listening."

Whether or not this current group of humanoids has been here for generations, I don't know. But, I did spy something that may help us determine their history!

There is a Unusual Mural in the Black Fin Village. While I would love to look at it up close, I think I'll have to settle for the next best thing.

Here, take these. You can use these tools to get a rubbing of the mural. It's not quite the same, but if I can look at a Mural Rubbing, I may be able to learn some things.

Player: "I'm on it."

Ah! You're finally back! I was getting so impatient, I was about to risk my very life to go look for you!

Did you bring me a mural rubbing? Let's see!

Aha! Just as I thought!Look! This is a mural rubbing I got from different area of Black Fin Village. Compare it with the one you just got!

Player: "I... see? What am I looking at?"

Look closely! This copy of mine is darker. The mural must have been engraved recently, as the etchings are still deep, with no sign of errosion! This mural contains no special rituals or legends. It only depicts the lifestyle and daily routines of the Black Fin Tribe.

But the rubbed copy that you brought, Player, shows imagery containing the Sun, the Moon, clouds, trees, four-footed animals and wild animals.

What do you think is a difference between these two pieces of mural paintings?

Player: "One is way older than the other?"

Yes! And the one that is older contains images of life on land!

We're so close to proving my theory! I know exactly what I need! I saw a fossil in the village when I was sneaking around. I need to see it up close!

Find the Ancient Creature Fossil inside the Black Fin Village, get the fossil sample, and meet me nearby. This is going to prove I'm right, I know it is!

Player: "If you say so."

(This looks like a fossil of an creature that inhabited in Cygnea long ago.)

(The errosion indicates it must be very old.)

Player: "Looks like I've learned a few things."

(The structure of this fossil indicates it moved on land rather than through the water.)

(It doesn't look even remotely similar to any creature you've ever seen. It must have gone extinct a long time ago.)

Player: "I'll just take this for Nikxon...."

Oh, haha! That was funny, I got that... Oh, Player, look at this! This is the proof I need!

Everyone knows that Cygnea recently rose from the ocean, but I had a theory that took it one step further--and I was right! Soil that had gone through several bouts of abrupt climate changes, the ages-old mural paintings that depict life on land, and the ancient bones of a long-extinct land creature... Cygnea was not always under water! It was submerged thousands of years ago, and has now REEMERGED!

Anyway, thank you for helping me prove my theory. I should be writing a report about this!
