Description:
Go to Dreg Findspot Investigate Crumbled Ruins Investigate the nearby Destroyed Balaur Ruins Find Intact Balaur Ruins Investigate Putrid Balaur Corpse Deliver the news to Nixie Meet Ancient Civilization Researcher Nixie.
Summary:
You met Ancient Civilization Researcher Nixie.

Nixie handed over the ruins piece and asked you to restore the original patterns of the piece and find out about the information of the ruins.

As Nixie requested, you performed the investigation on the ruins, matched the patterns of the ruins piece and identified the ruins have something to do with Tiamat.

You told Nixie that you were attacked by the Beritra Army while investigating the ruins and she said the Beritra Army must be interested in the ruins, too.

She said you helped make progress to her investigation and thanked you for it.

Full quest's text:
I heard there are many forgotten places in Atreia from the past.

A sense of wonder in this place may be because of the past which was part of Atreia, I guess.

Oh, what am I saying! Pardon me. I have no filtering system in my mouth.

First off, will you take a look at this?

When I heard some continent emerged from under the sea, I figured there would be nothing but the Beritra forces and battlefields, but look at this. I didn't expect to see this one.

Player: Continue listening.

It sure does look interesting for a piece of ruins, doesn't it?

I think I saw somewhere before. Given its appearance and trace, it looks like a very, very old pattern, but I'm not so sure.

So I could use some more...I'd like more information on this ruins piece.

If we can restore this pattern as exactly as it was, I think we can find out about the master of the ruins.

So I'll hand over this ruins piece to you, so will you investigate if there are any other ruins with the similar patterns?

Player: Accept.

(These ruins are seriously crumbled.)

(I've never seen this type of shape, but I suppose this must be something made by the tribe with the long-running civilization.)

Player: Compare it with the ruins piece.

(Comparison with the ruins piece reveals that it is not of the same shape.)

(I'll have to look for other ruins near here.)

Player: Finish the examination.

(I've found the Crumbled Ruins near here.)

(They also seem very aged.)

(It looks like they belong to the Balaur but they're so damaged, so I wouldn't know.)

Player: Compare it with the ruins piece.

(They are in the similar shape with the ruins piece but they're not the same.)

(I'd better look around to find out where there are any ruins kept intact.)

Player: Finish the examination.

(These ruins are kept intact.)

(They share the similar patterns with the ruins piece.)

(It seems as though someone has used them until a little while ago.)

Player: Examine the upper part.

(I tapped the upper part of the ruins hard but not much change seems to happen.)

(I doubt if it's going to ever work again.)

(They look like they have similar patterns to the ruins piece but I can't find any matching areas to connect.)

Player: Examine them again.

(I see one big hole in the lower area.)

(I inserted it in the ruins piece I brought and they fit perfectly.)

(I inserted the piece and one solid pattern has been completed.)

(What's drawn on the ruins are the patterns that signify Dragon Lord Tiamat.)

(I'll have to look around the surroundings more.)

Player: Finish the examination.

(It's the stinking body of Drakan.)

(At a glance, it put on the outfit of the Tiamat army.)

Player: Examine it carefully.

(It looks like the battle happened rather recently but this body has rotten really badly.)

(This body in the outfit of the Tiamat army seems to have something to do with the ruins.)

(I'll have to return to Nixie and report this first.)

Player: Finish the examination.

Did the Beritra army attack you while performing an investigation? Are you hurt anywhere?

So what you're saying is that the pattern engraved on the ruins is what symbolizes Tiamat. Is that so?

And even the body of the Tiamat army found near the ruins...

I believe Enshar must be associated with Tiamat, then.

Beritra must have had his interest in the ruins of Tiamat.

Anyway, you contributed to making progress to our investigation.

Thank you so much.
