Summary:
Stellin Industries entrusted you with a mission to find and defeat Vishaka, who fled to the Lawless Wastes. You were told to make sure the Regatus will pose no more problems in the future, and that the item Vishaka took with him is Tiamat’s Crown, a dangerous artifact of the Balaur Lord.

While tracking Vishaka in the Lawless Wastes, you encountered Captain Anuk. He was not his usual self, and seemed a bit euphoric as he talked on and on about ST-IX. With his help, you tracked Vishaka to his hiding place, and once again ran into the mysterious girl you encountered at the Regatus headquarters.

The girl, Inanna, revealed that she was also tracking Vishaka as a favor for a friend.

While accompanying her, you learned that Inanna is actually a mutant Balaur who is hostile toward other Balaur.

In a desperate final attack, Vishaka set off the explosive power of Tiamat’s Crown, somehow separating Inanna’s consciousness from her body.

You couldn’t let Inanna stay that way, so you entered her mind and memories.

Inside Inanna’s mind, everything was different--she was half-human and half-Balaur, as well as being bullied by other Balaur.

Rescuing her from her painful memories proved to be successful, as both of you were able to escape safely.

You tried to look after Inanna, but Stellin employees showed up to collect Tiamat’s Crown and shooed you away from the scene.

Full quest's text:
You’re pretty good at what you do, aren’t you?

I thought Stellain would be disappointed by how you let Vishaka get away, but they were just impressed with how you’d destroyed the Regatus headquarters.

They were pleased that striking the hidden base led to a cut in costs. So, well done, I suppose.

Player: “I suppose.”

Stellin is the future. Winning their favor is all that matters. We wouldn’t be able carry out our operations in this foreign land if we didn’t have Stellin’s support.

How great would it be if we stayed on their good side and got huge promotions? Ahem....

On that note, go speak with Stellin Headquarters Employee Steraki. There’s a new mission waiting for you.

Player: “On my way.”

Congratulations on the promotion! Daeva is a mid-level employee now!

No, wait, that’s not right. Daeva is a mid-level employee now! Congratulations on being promoted! Stellin’s upper management thinks very highly of Daeva’s abilities after taking care of the Regatus practically single-handedly.

Management has decided that Daeva has what it takes to take on heavier responsibilities. That means receiving more important missions from now on.

Player: “More important?”

Heard of Lawless Wastes? It’s an area that attracts incorrigible vagrants and heinous criminals... It’s, ah... it’s a mess of a place.

After Vishaka got away, the brute went to Lawless Wastes.

But don’t worry, the Lawless Wastes should be no problem for Daeva, right?

Player: “What do you want me to do?”

Track down the whereabouts of the former Regatus leader, Vishaka. Find where Vishaka is hiding and defeat the monster once and for all.

Remember the object that Vishaka fled with? That thing is... it’s incredibly dangerous!

It’s an artifact called Tiamat’s Crown. It was left behind by a Balaur Lord, and it possesses a ridiculous amount of power. There’s no telling what Vishaka will do with it! We have to stop this, and fast!

Player: “On my way!”

For the first time, I feel... free. This feels amazing.

A deserter? I have heard those rumors, but I haven’t paid much attention.

I just follow the flow, to search for something more meaningful—the happiness of now.

(It might be just your imagination, but Anuk seems to have a strange look in his eyes.)

Player: “You seem... different.”

Yes. The rigid Anuk of the past is no more.

I am the new Anuk. The freed Anuk. The Anuk who has found meaning in ST-Nine.

ST-IX is like... nothing I’ve ever felt before. I have so much more energy now. I feel like I’ve shed a weight I didn’t know I was carrying.

You should try it, Player. I wish all the world could know the peace I know now!

Player: “I’m... I’m good.”

Anyway, about what you’re looking for... I might’ve been seeing things... but I think I saw Vishaka. He was moving carefully, like he didn’t want to be seen.

It didn’t seem like Vishaka... but I’m sure it was Vishaka. Probably. But I could be wrong. But I’m sure it was.

Player: “Ah... thanks....”

(It’s the door you discovered while tracking down Vishaka.)

(You notice a big, bloody Drakan handprint right in the middle of the door.)

(It seems you’ve found Vishaka’s hideout.)

Player: “Here we go.”

...I remembered.

You’re that meddler...

I didn’t expect to meet you again.

Player: “I’m not a meddler. I have a name.”

Player%... Player%?

Oh, I’ve memorized your name, that won’t do. Too late now, I suppose.

You can call me Inanna, if you want.

Player: “Inanna. What brings you here?”

That Balaur that got away last time, I’m here for him.

Someone from Stellin who I care about... They asked me to....

I don’t forgive Balaur, not with how much they hurt people.

Player: “It seems we’re on the same mission.”

Oh? We’re after the same target?

All right... maybe you’re not a meddler after all.

Player: “We should work together.”

(Her body is convulsing after being thrown to the ground.)

(Inanna’s mind and body were separated by the impact she suffered a moment ago.)

(Being hit directly by the explosive magical power of Tiamat’s Crown caused this.)

(She will be in grave peril if you leave her here.)

Player: (Finish examining.)

Good work, Daeva. You’ve exceeded our expectations. We’ll take care of the rest, so don’t worry.

That kid is a member of Stellin, so they’re our responsibility. Go on, you’ve earned a break.

Your mission is complete.

...Are you hearing me, Daeva? She’s in Stellin’s care now. Your mission here is done. You’re dismissed.

I can help you get to Stellusia.

Player: Go to Stellusia.

... It sounds like you’re tired from your trip to Lawless Wastes, Daeva.

I understand what you think you saw, but ST-Nine is the premier product of Stellin Industries. Everyone knows about it, everyone’s been using it. If there was something off about it--even a little bit--someone would have said something, and Stellin Industries would have looked into it.

ST-Nine is a wonderful invention, and Stellin Industries is a wonderful company. And you’ve just done some wonderful work! Why don’t you take some time off?
