Description:
Talk again with Xeikun. Interrogate the Vengeful Aetheric Guard Dominator in Wretched Plot.(5) Interrogate Cursed Gilgamesh. (1) Talk to Gilgamesh Talk to Jalturan near Dragon Lord's Ruins Site. Report to Xeikun Investigate the mysterious sealed power in Enshar.
Summary:
Xeikun suspected the graves they'd found belonged to the Drakan who betrayed Tiamat, and send you to investigate.

When you defeated Cursed Gilgamesh, you freed the Drakan's soul from its curse. Gilgamesh told you that whatever power was sealed away was something even Tiamat had been afraid of, and sent you to talk to the Tehji.

You spoke to Tehji Elder Jalturan and asked him about the sealed power. He told you about his tribe's old legends, and the battle of fire and ice. You reported back to Xeirun, who said he was also afraid of whatever may have been sealed away.

Full quest's text:
There is still a great deal we don't know about Enshar. Any little detail could be crucial to unlocking the mysteries of this land....

There are mysteries aplenty, but our top priority right now is finding out about the mysterious power Tiamat sealed away here.

What was this power, and why did Tiamat seal it away?

Player: "Do you have any answers?"

No answers, Daeva. Only small hints and clues.

Our Expedition has been examining the gravesites of some ancient Aetheric Field Protectors, but all we're certain of so far is that they were Tiamat's soldiers.

....Actually, there is something I find suspicious, but I didn't tell because I'm not a scholar.

Player: "What is it?"

Well... Tiamat was the most infamous, even among the Balaur Lords. She betrayed the Dragon Lord she served--assassinated him to take his throne. The other Balaur Lords, and many of her followers, turned against her after her betrayal.

I think it's possible that the graves we found, of the Aetheric Field Protectors... I think they're some of the Drakan who revolted against Tiamat. It's possible that if we can speak to their spirits, they may be able to tell us more.

I know this is a long shot, but... Player, can you go to the Wretched Plot and see what you can find?

Player: "Sure, why not?"

I... am Gilgamesh.... one of the few who stood against Tiamat the traitor....

I never thought... that I could ever be freed from this curse....

You... you who broke this curse... Who are you?

Player: "[%username], an Asmodian Daeva."

A Daeva? You have the wings of a Daeva, but you look different from those I remember.

Tiamat. Where is Tiamat? In her terror, she sealed us here... Not fear of us, but of another... she used our spirits to bind that which she feared most.

Tiamat... show yourself, coward....!

Player: "Tiamat is dead."

Dead...?

Then she has gotten what she deserved.

Tiamat imprisoned those who stood against her... not just imprisoned, but cursed, dooming us to stand guard against her nightmares....

Player: "What was she afraid of?"

The sealed being!

Tiamat never spoke of it, for fear the other Balaur would find out... there was a battle here, a battle of enormous power... A long, long time ago. There was only one being that Tiamat feared....

...Daeva, I think my time here is finally ending. Seek out the Tehji... They may be able to tell you more.

Player: "The Tehji?"

Greetings, Daeva.

We are the guardians of the Divine Fire. I was told you aided our tribe, so we are here to help.

I was told you are seeking knowledge. Perhaps we can help.

Player: "Do you know about the power Tiamat sealed away?"

I... perhaps. There are legends....

There was a great battle between two terrible powers, long ago. Of burning ice and roaring fire....

The fire won, which gave it control of this land. That is why we call ourselves the servants of the Divine Fire.

Player: "What about the Drakan who betrayed Tiamat?"

It is said that they are under the curse of the earth.

They were cursed to guard the thing the fire feared, forever, in life and in death. That is all I know.

...If the water continues to grow scarce, I worry for my people's survival....

Player: "Thank you for your time."

Ancient beings? Fire and ice?

I'm not sure if all the details in the Tehji legends are true, but there is one clear commonality here--that Tiamat was afraid of whatever it was she sealed away.

In all fairness, so am I. Anything that scares a Dragon Lord is nothing I'd want to mess with.... but the Empyrean Lords are with us. We should muster up our courage.

Thank you.
